Senior year// State Semis.. Up 2-1, chose bottom... Controling the match all the way until.....I stand up and insted of getting my hips out and taking the escape I TRY A STUPID A$$ STANDING GRANBY.. He puts me on my back, he goes up and and now he's in control of the match. Another 3rd place finish at State for me and he goes on to kill the other guy in the finals. :oops: Two 3rd place finishes and one 6th place. But never a champion :oops: :oops: :oops: What a stupid A$$ MOVE!!!!!!!!!!

I agree.. 62-0 and not giving up a takedown all year... pinning his way to the finals at the National... All while in the 10th grade.. 2 more years of those stats and you whould have no choice but to say he is one of if not the BEST

Metcalf is classless... Bad losser, pushing Caldwell like that. Caldwell took it to his A$$!!!! He had a great plan going into the match. I thought that he might get tired and stall in the later part of the match, but he never quit!!!!! He is an amazing, flexable, athlete. GOD I LOVE THIS SPORT!!! .... IMO thats crazy for u to say that.... He only lost to Carr (twice) his senior year. The 1st match Carr was clearly stuck (but thats another thread, look it up if u wish to debate) But Tinsley for sure belongs on the list.

Carr Petterson & Talbott where all young and not at the top of their game... The 119 in 1996 was stacked with 3 seniors in the top 3... Dunn was a freshman... who placed 5th & 6th that year (1996) @ 119...Was it Williams & Williams

Anthony Smith didnt make weight at Regions that year @ 103... Doug Sanders HHS and Jason Johnston Caldwell wrestled in the finals

Ill have to check, but Dean Williams Wrestled Matt Williams for 5th place that year @ either 112 or 119... if its @ 119 than thats 8 Champions

My vote goes to 119 in 1996 Jason Talbott 2Xr (also placed at nationals) Conner kid ( name escapes me) but he was one of the biggest 119's I ever saw Chris Dunn 3Xr Grady Petterson 2Xr 7 State Titles!!! but there can only be 1 that year
