We are looking for an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Clarksville High School in Clarksville, TN. We've worked really hard over the last few years to get systems in place to ensure future success. We now need a good assistant coach who can contribute to the big plans we have for our program's future. There will be a fight night at Clarksville High School on Monday, April 4th at 6:00pm. We'll make up a rotating schedule for the Clarksville/Hopkinsville area at this event.

The Central Tennessee Wrestling Conference is looking for K-6th grade wrestlers in weight classes 55lb and 110lbs for the Smokey Mountain Duals in Gatlinburg, TN. The duals take place this Sunday after the big Top 100 Individual tournament on Saturday. Let me know if you have someone who can fill one of these spots. We would love to have some KY studs come over for these. Very short drive from the Hopkinsville area. The Nashville Regional Training Center (NRTC) will start having a weekly "Fight Night" this Tuesday. This first event will take place at the Clarksville High School Wrestling building from 6:30-8:00pm. The plan is to have a fight night each week and rotate the location all over middle TN. These events are designed for our very best elementary and middle school wrestlers. We want to keep this event rotational so all middle TN programs get a chance to host. We also want to prevent single programs from becoming a wrestling training monopoly. We are just starting to put together a training calendar. Team Clarksville will host the first event on the 15th. Let me know if your program would like to host one of these. We are hoping to hold one fight night each week on either a Tuesday or Thursday.

Beech Tournament is now on the 10th. That's why we're going the following weekend. -
These "fight nights" have become big in TN over the last year. There is one every day of the week some where in middle TN and the rest of our state is following. I hope they become big in KY too. We would definitely be interested in coming to some.

Knuckleheads practice is on Tuesday and Wednesday this week because of the Clarksville HS wrestling banquet tonight.

The Knuckleheads Freestyle/Greco-Roman Wrestling Club will begin practice Monday the 16th of March. “Iron Sharpens Iron” and this club has enabled the best wrestlers from the Clarksville area to work together in the off season for the last 7 years. The primary instructor this season will be Clarksville HS Assistant Coach Brandon Isbell. Practice will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:30pm for middle school/high school wrestlers and from 6:00 to 7:30 for elementary school wrestlers. The first practice is Monday, March 16th and the training last through the middle of May. You can register at any practice. We will also have a "Fight Night" every Thursday night at 6:00pm beginning March 19th for any wrestler with a USA card. Fight Night consist of all live wrestling. The practice location is the Clarksville High School Wrestling Facility at 151 Richview Road, Clarksville, TN 37043. Cost is $60 and this includes a limited USA Wrestling card plus club t-shirt.
