When will each region determine the seeding for their tournament?

195 and 220 look to be the most competitive.

Looks like the brackets are almost all built looking through trackwrestling they are at 195 right now. 6-8 people in all brackets but one so far.

There will be some good match-ups here today. Really interested to see the seeds from 138-160. Good luck to all!!

Centreville is ok. Not great but ok.

I'd say the closest Campbell Co. has ever had to back to back state champions at heavyweight would be Mason Franck. He was runner up as a junior and champ as a senior.

I know one semi is Johnson Central and Tates Creek , I would assume the other is HC and Madison Central but can never count out Lafayette.

That'll be a cool venue. I was just repeating what was previously mentioned on here. Is it still the 30th?

1/30 I believe big school is at Ryle and small school is at Montgomery Co.

Really liked the medals. About 10 times the size what the kids got at state.

Some places that I vividly remember for one reason or another were Johnson Central (especially if you had one of their kids in the finals it was loud, intense and their fans were not shy about expressing themselves. Their tournament was neat you'd wrestle three duals then the top kids would come out in a 4 man individual tournament).Western Hills has an arena type domed gym that's pretty cool.Central in Louisville is cool, old bleacher's, brick exterior, takes you back to a bygone era.Outside of Kentucky one of the best experiences was at the finals of the Bishop Ready Invitational in Ohio. The gym was a crackerbox and every single seat was filled and the crowd spilled over onto the gym floor. Had little kids and adults sitting cross legged on the floor. Loudest place I've ever been for wrestling.

The Lafayette Tournament had to run their tournament by hand after a long delay because track wrestling went down. Track wrestling is the absolute worst wrestling software in terms of user friendliness. It's really a shame that they've cornered the market as there are much better options. Regardless of how this tournament is being run Coach Teater does a great job with it. The potential match ups look great. The champion this year is getting an awesome banner. Thanks!! Whoa, 12 teams in your sectional. Are you guys going to do 2 days or 3 pools of 4 or something else?

There is nothing more frustrating as someone who has run a tournament than teams that drop days, hours and sometimes just flat out don't show up. It seems like this is a bigger issue in Kentucky than in other states. One thing I finally learned was use contracts. They are a pain in the butt but at least it guarantees the entry fee in the event of a no show. Sometimes though unavoidable things occur and then you handle those on a case by case basis. One year a team had to drop as the flu was running rampant in the squad and the coach only had 2 healthy kids but in all likelihood they were going to get sick and then spread it to everyone else. Hopefully day 2 will run smoothly. Good luck to all involved.
