Anyone have full results?

Anybody know how things have gone so far?

Union Co. has also lost to Tates Creek 36-33.

Tates Creek brought a half JV, half varsity team yesterday and had no entrant at 145.

In the last two weeks Nathan Gray has really started to wrestle better. He beat Houston Croney last week and this week he beat Gronefeld, Mayes, and Foley.

Tates Creek got whipped, no excuses. However according to some on the team, they have been dealing with some injuries and sicknesses that severely limited what a few of their best wrestlers could do yesterday. The oppourtunity to wrestle against the kids from Reitz was something that could not be passed up even though resting would have better served about four guys yesterday.

I had to work yesterday. Didn't make it out. Any results?

Abney beat Yenter by 3 14-11 and you have been all over the board talking about how unimpressive the TC wrestlers were who beat their Campbell Co. counterparts. Let it go, they lost fair and square.

Holmes was one of the teams that failed to send in any information and then wanted their kids seeded.

Zarth pin Joe Davis (TC) 119 final. Jeremiah Walls won 160. Logan Murrell pin Black (CC) 152 final.

Ilg manhandled Hester in the 215 final. Griggs pin Jones from Holmes in 189 final. Bell (WH) dec. Gardner (Fr. Co.) @ 171.

Bryant dec. Brown at 112 championship 3-2.

Staten dec. Harlow 6-2 HWT.

Mims from Henry Clay wrestled 130 and won the TCI.

Shotwell pin Bennett. Shotwell was unstoppable tonight. He has the look of a state champ.

Kasey Hedges dec. Schneider 7-6.

Tates Creek 1st Campbell Co. 2nd McCreary Central 3rd The reason the tournament started late was only 9 of the 20 teams sent out seeding information and those who didn't got upset about their kids seed so all 14 weight classes were redrawn. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way the tournament was run, it is up to the coaches to get their information in, in a timely manner or just let the kids get drawn in. In fact our team loves the TCI because everyone gets to wrestle. Yes, tournaments should start on time, but blaming the tournament organizer in this case is wrong. The livelihood of tournaments depend on getting teams in year after year and sometimes you have to acquiese to the demands of some coaches so that they return year after year.

Josh Bell from Western Hills who was in the finals at the WCI (@189) is dropping to 171.

Both were injured in the Franklin Co. dual.

Very good dual. Tates Creek forfeits 160 and 171. Woodford Co. forfeits 112 and 189. The difference was at 130 where TC's had Woodford's pinned on a mixer, the Woodford guy got out and turned around and stuck him for the pin, great intense match. TC has really improved over the last couple of years and Woodford is Woodford. Two big matchups Kasey Hedges had a beautiful stack defensive pin on Travis K. and Steven Kimbrell beat Bryan Thompson 4-2 in the TC vs. Franklin match.
