One thing you also have to keep in mind once Nathan Gray was ejected from the tournament all of his points went with him and TC was also deducted team points for his actions that ultimately was the deciding factor between them placing 4th and 2nd.

Tates Creek had too many injuries this year. Kinder wrestled with a huge knee brace, re-injured himself literally three seconds into his match with Brown, couldn't even move and still placed 5th. No Zac Brown, no Riley Warner, the writing was on the wall, also Henry Clay has 5-6 wrestlers who are capable of going out and winning against anybody they face, Tates Creek has three. To me the biggest upset of the entire tournament was TC's 112 beating Dayne Lewis in the conso semi's. His record according to KHSAA is 10-14 but he's going to the state tournament. The wrestlers from TC told me he was their 4th string 112. Another amazing run yesterday was Hart from Franklin Co. qualifying at 135 he was the 3rd string 135 according to some I talked to.

Krauziewicz is a great wrestler but Hedges is too, Mike Ford the official allowed an illegal chicken wing which injured Hedges, and after that Krauziewicz proved too tough. In the Hedges had his opportunity and let it go, he should have stuck him in the first couldn't do it, and credit should go to Krauziewicz.

That's a real possibilty. Lewis is 10-2, he will face some stiff competition for the 3 and 4 spot, from Clay and Lopez.

I think if you want to accomplish this winning the region title would go a long way. Yesterday was a very good showing but a region title would be even more impressive.

I could definitely see Lacy in the finals with Zarth. I went with Davis based upon the last result. I think although not sure that they are 1-1 this year. Either ay both have really improved from last year.

Looking at 160, Courtney's a guarentee after him I like either Brunig/Caldren or Coy. It's close between those three.

In Kentucky wrestling always takes a back seat. There's a reason we lag behind other states in the quality we put out there.

I will admit now this decision looks like an over reaction, but safety should come first. I would like to know how the decison was made to cancel. Whose call was it?

Who would have beaten Tates Creek. You say you're not trying to take anything away from them, but that is exactly what you are doing. The only team that can beat Tates Creek in region 7 this year is Woodford Co. Please tell me who the other "team" is. I have seen every other Region 7 team wrestle this year and from 103-HWT. There is not another team. To rehash what has already been said, Franklin Co. finished SECOND meaning they are the second best team from the other pool and they got run over by Tates Creek 51-27. Also if you want to assign blame for the way the pools played out blame Joe Carr, Russ Riegle and Andy Critchfield who all voted to only seed the top four teams. John Griggs, Tates Creek's head coach repeatedly voted to seed all teams in the region. I'm waiting for a lucid response to this? People want to complain yet they bring it on themselves. Who would have beaten TC at the Region 7 duals? Both Henry Clay and Harrison Co. had far too many holes in their lineup to win. Tates Creek beat both the 3rd and 4th place finishers (PLD and Franklin Co.) There is no one else who could have beaten them. Also Woodford Co. barely won in their dual it could have easily been the other way around.

Meade Co. is leaps and bounds better now than the last time I saw them. They are headed in the right direction.
