which team do u think will be the biggest surprise in region 1. who will be the biggest surprise's in each weight class from region 1.

im very sry i missed cory armstrong at the 152 weight class. he'll give mitch a run for his money this year.

yes bryce alexander is a solid young wrestler. brandon brack hasn't shown me anything specail and scotty hogan is a hard worker but in the 125 weight class wont do much. in the 140 class ervin and king are the two favorites. and in 135 you have luke ervin and either jake skinner or clay overby take your pick there. i can't even begin to name the top wrestlers in the 125 class.

the hardest team region is the one with eastern and oldham county. the most competative(indiv) region is region 1. Every weight class seems to have 3 or 4 guys ranked in the top 25

i think chris merriwether is not getting enought support. he's going to be over looked all season then at state he's going to start knocking off people one by one

This is going to be a match up between an unstopable force(MITCH ERVIN) and an inmovable object(HARRISON COURTNEY). but in the end i see mitch ervin getting the job done

apollo started back in the summer with the app state camp then conditioning in the middel of september.

wright from union is the clear favorite if he was beat in regoin 1 i would be really surprised

has anybody herd of this antwan feilds guy that is supposed to be a state champion two years in a row from indy. he's at iroquises(prolly spelled wrong, sry) now. he's not on the champions list on any of the websites. just wondering if anybody else knew anything.

who are the teams commited with the change?

i like the idea of state being in owensboro. there is more places to stay in owensboro than in frankfort.

apollo just built a new gym for the wrestling team and the cheerleaders. the gym includes. a wrestling room which is hugh and a wrestling locker room. the wrestling room is connected to the new wrestling weight lifting room.

chris is already ranked in 103. i think kara hudson from apollo should get it. i think cody martin form apollo should be ranked at 130 and brent feher from apollo at 112

weight class by weight class somebody gets over looked every year. so who do u think is going to be the region 1 sleepers this year in each weight class.

i'd like to nominate kara hudson from apollo fo the number 25 spot at 103

Ryle Mason Reid 12 ranked number 1 at 171 vs. joey stone from apollo graduate in 2005. he wrestled at 171. was came in 3rd and 6th place at state in kentucky and finished high in north carolina when he lived there. it would be a good match

if luke goes to 130 than is issac going 135 or still at 140. is jake skinner from christan going 130,135, or 140

With union county a lock to send pretty much everyone of there guys to state that still leaves 3 spots in every weight class....so just wanting to know who every body think will go to state from each weight class. give me your top 4 in order

apollo has cody martin going to 130 he's pretty tough brack. i thought bryce alexander was going 130

i have a friend that goes to owensboro high school that used to go to carey high school in north carolina. one of the best schools in the nation. im trying to get him to come to apollo and wrestle. he would wrestlel 125 at comes.

Stephen Thompson is ranked 17th at 140, but last year josh king beat him. when they wrestled at oldam county duals. king is ranked 19th.

what about freedom hall in louisville. or possibly the sports center in owensboro. there are deffinatly bigger places you could have it at but i think that frankfort has kinda of become the home of the state tournament i like it there.

yes they are. south spencer and the team from tennesse are supposed to be there.
