judson and zach pitman and a couple other paducah kids might be coming
-
brandon hamilton from paducah is about 225-230
-
Jake Ilg is going to lindsey Wilson jacob Bradford might and I heard that Harrison Courtney took a visit to lindsey as Aaron Carr did too
Congrats Ryan
Aaron Carr committed to West Point last year.
-
David Barton from Paducah Tilghman. He started wrestling his junior year and took second his senior year by a one or two points decision in the finals. His takedowns were amazing and still are to this day.
-
Dee Leavell
man he's got some work to do to get up to 125 haha, where is he going?
-
this isnt even a question. caleb ervin hands down. state champ 62-0 and thats almost all in tournaments in indiana and other out of state tournaments. the state finals last year is the last match he's going to lose for the remainder of his high school career.
-
counting the entire season...who do you give most outstanding wrestler to? i say caleb ervin state champ 62-0 on the season.
-
145- #2 ohlmann, #4 pile, #5 proctor, #7 pitman, and steve willbanks all on the same side is gonna be interesting to watch, i definitely see olhmann in the finals though.
-
All Jared had in his arsenal was mediocre leg wrestling at best... After that didnt work he got frustrated and broke down. The region looked very week this year. Is it just me or did anyone else think so too? Especially the 152 weightclass... wow.
yeah region one is really bad now that henderson left...not
-
willbanks and proctor first round at 145
-
The Sowder/Ervin semi could be one of the best matches of the tournament if it happens.
yeah right, that match wouldn't even be close. ervin is gonna dominate him.
-

Tre Such and Anthony Adams. I was supposed to be there but everybody forgot to tell me what time the bus left. And Tre sent me a text saying that his last match was "crazy" and he "got a reversal with like .6 left" to win 9-7
yeah if either one of them were outstanding wrestlers it would have been good, they're both just ok.
-
come on..get real...its his senior year..any senior with some sense of pride does just not hand away a match esp at regionals..kory polley might not do much at state this year but...watch out for him in the next four years
yeah i heard jared smith isnt even showing up for state
-
145 and 140 are both really tough
-
if the rankings play out correctly looks like there will be some good match up early. brown and wright, brown and beto, hendren and jude, pitman and ohlmann, pile and proctor...
-
zach pitman only placed one place higher than polley...zach and kory swap spots in the bracket and im sure he places higher than pitman..
doubt that. did you see pitmans match with jared smith? he completely dominated him 11-1. Jared Smith walked up to me and told me he was going to lose to polley bc he didnt care anymore.
-
I may be biased but I honestly think that this whole tournament depends if Christian County shows up with their A game or not. If they show if with their A game they could possibly have finalists out of 112: Leavell, 125: Polley, 135: Jones, 140: Adams, 160: Trice, 215: Payne, 285: Croney. 145: Geralds could also have a break through who knows? He has kept up with Pittman. On the other hand if they want to they can act a fool and not show up. So I say this tournament is pretty unpredictable.
the only time geralds and pitman have wrestled pitman stuck him in the first period.
-
3 years ago when Bryan Hall the 285 from paducah beat Mike Clark from trinity (defending state champ) in the semi's on a last second blast double
-
He lost to Hendren 11-6 in the quarters and then lost to Proctor 3-0 in the consolation semis.
rough day for him..

103: Wade (UHA) and Reburn (UC), Reburn 5-3 (Good Match)
112: Leavell (CH) and Boone (OC), Leavell by Fall
119: Boone (OC) and Young (UC), Boone 6-5 (Good Match)
125: Carr (UC) and Smith (FC), Carr by Fall
130: Ervin (UC) and Bunch (OC), Ervin by Fall
135: Ervin (UC) and Apollo, Apollo by fall hahaha. In reality Ervin over Isbill
140: Thomas (UC) and Such (FC), Thomas 8-2
145: Pittman (PT) and Kuegal (AP), Pittman 15-8
152: Ervin (UC) and Lynch (OC), Ervin 10-3
160: Buckman (UC) and Lamb (CD), Buckman 4-2
171: Woolen (OC) and Agnew (CD), Woolen 7-3
189: McKenney (UC) and Dillard (HOP), Dillard 6-5
215: Payne (CH) and Flynn (CD), Flynn 7-4. or is something wrong with Flynn?
285: Croney (CH) and Brewick (DC), Croney by Fall
189 is going to be a fun weight class to watch. With Mckenney, Dillard, and Profitt all being close it should be a battle.
