Ocmvp did you actually watch the Pender vs Rusch or Kailin vs Bradbury? Did you see Kaelin just lay on the mat with armsin turtle position just trying not to get pinned or turned? Please there is no chance he will ever beat Bradbury!!! And Rusch did nothing but block or try counters against Pender once he lucked into 1st takedown? Demolished ? So untrue Pender prays he faces Rusch again and i know the outcome will be different! I did not see 1 attempt from Rusch to turn Pender and on there feet Pender was trying all the takedowns! Yes rusch won 5-0 demolished very funny!

I certainly don't understand the lack of respect for Ohlman? State runner-up at 45 last year and demery moving up what 3 weight classes? Grant has a little trouble with the taller wrestlers,but demery is same height or shorter i understand quick but Grant is very strong and has won Mater Dei at 52! I don't see it going 3 Grant Ohlman by PIN! I like this lack of respect though and hope Grant reads this and uses this as motivation!

Here it is Trinity won 10 matches and X 4 (103,140,152,160) = 52-21 not even close!

usually fresh and jv duel goes on at the same time(2 mats) then take 1 mat away 1 mat for varsity! Trinity beat x badly over weekend won 9 out 12 wrestled forfeited 135 and 140 when outcome was already sealed! Don't know what Trinity will send out for this match up???Probably will want to beat them as badly this time but we will see????

Does anybody know who got MOW at Mater Dei I know ohlman destroyed everyone at 152 all pins in less than 2 minutes and Bradbury was dominate as well????

Yes Bradbury was 103 when elliot was a sr,Elliot did not wrestle at 103 his sr year!!! Elliot bumped up to 119 sr year and smith was at 112 ! I said when they both wrestled at 103 (Smith and Martin) i think Martin only weighed close to 97 so he was spotting a few pounds but Smith was better until Elliot worked his butt off got bigger and better by the time they were srs! Fahy definately better 103 ,but like i said time will tell as weight is put on???? It really is a moot point since we will never find out they all are exceptional wrestlers who worked and are still working hard to get better except Smith who is now coaching!!

No offense to Elliot but when he was at 103 he was beaten at least twice by trinitys Dan Smith who was the best 103 in region four but got upset at regions and got a harder state draw??? Elliot really worked hard and when he went up in weight He was Better than Smith !!! I really beleive that at 103 Fahy would be superior to a 103 Martin, but time will only tell how good Fahy will be as he goes up in weight class???

I have to disagree with those who think wright vs lewis is close? Lewis pinned or majored wright last year and was beating him 10-0 ? and made mistake Yes got pinned but those two at their best and Lewis takes it hands down! And as far as Griggs vs Messina not even close last 2 times they met as Messina Owned Griggs!!! I agree this duel would be a tossup ,but as far as 08-09 Trinity won with Fahy,Bradbury,Brad Hitchings,Messina and Whiting all not wrestling !

Trinity was without Josh lewis who had beaten Diante several times! Trinity with Josh union with wright Trinity wins and possibly could have made a run at state if Lewis hadnt gotten injured???

Brent Hitchings spotted each opponent 8 to 10 lbs weighing about112-114 soaking wet!!! This kid has Tremendous wrestling ability as well as heart! 119 was a stacked weight class and he got eigth place a tremendous achievement! Dont complain about stalling this kid was easily top 8 in ability and look out for him next 3 years!

I still dont see how Davis got it?? Granted he did win his 2nd title ,but to me he was not as impressive as some others! John Fahy was more impressive>>pin in1:16,15-0 vs Bracco,18-0 vs Willen,14-3 ? vs Paden 2nd ranked and 15-0 in finalsvs Milford never taken down the whole tourney or the entire year in kentucky and Indiana! He totally dominated everyone he wrestled !!! Also Bradbury pinned his way to finals and then won 7-0 !!! These were much better performances??? Anyone have any arguments?

Trinity 215 Messina had Kelly on his back and could not hold him due to kelly superior strength and was winning match 6-3 with 3 takedowns so Do you think Jordan Whiting who has superior strength compared to Messina could hold Kelley down ??? I think yes! if kelly wrestled like that against Whiting he would get stuck? I give it to whiting in a close match???

It is hard to wrestle when your opponent is just extending there arms out and pushing you off??? Jordan Whiting actually used moves this year! The close matches he had were Browder from North hardin a win 2-1 and the loss to Croney who did nothing the whole match then fell on whiting or was it a slip??? Anyway my hats off to the bryan station heavyweight who actually tried some shots wich usually were snapped down and Jordans strength and quickness were used to spin around for takedown!
