I honestly do not like the ISU cyclones now. I wonder if David Taylor will still go to ISU? Okie State has a TOUGH recruting class this year. Also maybe Cael will actually get some of that Pennsylvania talent to come to Penn State. I'd much rather see Penn and Zeke Jones on the top of Penn's recruiting though.

You must have not been around many good leg riders. It was hit and almost pinned one of our 3 time state champions. He did get out of it, but I'm sure he put up a fight. Especially long guys like Derrick Moore it's pretty easy to get that move so, I have to disagree with the first statement. Btw I had one of the best leg riders in the state down in my practice room so I would know IT IS A FORM OF PUNISHMENT! It's because our coach taught it to be punishing :evil: Like especially when you lock it over and you straighten your leg out you basically want to pin yourself it hurts so bad.

Okay looking back at their posts I don't really agree with them. Who to watch out for, the whole woodford team? Honestly your giving your team a bad name coming on here saying Woodford should be FEARED b/c they are ALMIGHTY. Think about kids from the past did they come on here saying they should be feared next year? I don't think they did.

Can I ask you something? Did he work in the room as much when he became head coach? I think it's impressive he finally got them over the hump especially in the manner he did it. Those are some of the most well mannered young men I've ever seen. Reminds me a lot of Union, great bunch of guys that aren't stuck up.

Back in the day, not too far back, OC Super Duals was VERY tough. With teams like CH, Eastern, Larue, Woodford, Seneca, Oldham County, North Oldham, Simon Kenton, Scott, and Christian County it was pretty tough. Also if I'm not mistaken back when Fern Creek was tough they went to it.

Seems like he's got something against people that don't back down and accept his opinion. Just calling it how I see it.

It's actually kind of sad. A lot of times I am embarrassed to say where I'm from because people make assumptions. The assumptions usually include something about incestial relations, eating squirrels, having buck teeth, and using bad grammar. It's true I know a lot of people having the latter three, but I hate being categorized in the same group because I'm from KY.

You can tell, or at least I can by physical signs. Loss of breath like taking deep gasps for breath is a sign or if you see there face turning beat red is another sign. No matter though usually the guys who have a lower pain tolerance shouldn't have those moves done to them anyway because they aren't and experienced wrestler. With a wrestler that hasn't wrestled often they don't need to be embarrased like that. I remember my eighth grade year I faced a kid from Colliervile TN. I was a second year wrestler, unlike JD lol, and missed weight and was wrestling a tough tough varsity team. They eventually beat us 89-0, ouch, ya we ran it seemed like all night after that loss. Coach also likes to play with numbers so every tenth of a pound we were off we had to do one hundred push ups. For ex. I was a pound and 2 tenths over so I had to do 1,200 push ups by the end of the day. He also made us do 89 laps around the gym. We got the point after that loss. Any ways I faced tough kid and he scissored my body so hard that I started yelling. Ref called the pin and told me sorry but you were pinned so I couldn't stop the match. My point is on more experienced kids go for all the punishing moves, that are legal, you want ; but on younger kids it's not nessecary. The way younger kids should be brought up is having their teammates go out there and put them through pain for them just to start getting used to it until they can put the hurting on their opponent.

Since when? Bradbury was trinity's 103 Elliot's senior year. That's who we are comparing to. It doesn't matter who had the toughest draw has that not gotten to you? The best will always prevail. Elliot beat Bradbury in the finals, future 3rd and state champ, Jarvis future state champ the next year, and Shaw Johnson who is a very tough wrestler with some impressive wins. Elliot has Fahy beat with the level of competition he had to go through.

You all need to recruit like crazy, I know for a fact you all have some tough kids especially transfers every year. Good luck, BTW I saw David and Robbie at Wal-Mart, they need to gain some weight lol

Yes he would. If you don't agree back your S*** up dude don't just say "no he wouldn't" I wanna hear your argument. Elliot Martin hit that craddle on just about everyone and the level of competition now compared to back then is NOTHING I repeat that NOTHING.

:mrgreen:It's crazy to see the talent level of the athletes in this area. I agree though with the raw talent these kids already have show them a few moves to perfect you've got the perfect ingredients for a top level program. Has Meade Co. ever had a wrestling team?

The kid is mean haha We were hanging out at state 2 years ago and he was telling us how Max and the other older brother were on top of the roof with a b-b gun and they shot Mitch in the forehead and Mitch fell down. Then he said he saw Max and them celebrating on the roof haha After that he said he started laughing and Mitch threw a shoe at him hahaha I was like man that is the funniest story I've ever heard.
