The ref doesn't have to call stalling and you can't expect the ref to call it. You just have to wrestle. -

A ref's job is tough and a lot of times he can't always make the call everyone wants. When kids feel they get the shaft they blame it on everyone but who needs to be blamed, themself. So man up take responsibility for your actions instead of sulking over them. That is exactly why you need to make an undisputible score etc. like 385 says. -
This made me laugh so hard lol

We've had a pretty good showing lately, hope to see you tommorrow!

The only way I would stop wrestling is if I were dead  I'm a fan of wrestling so I think it gives me a legit reason to speak on things. I mean if everyone who didn't wrestle anymore just shut up on this site, the site wouldn't exist. Anyway, I wasn't trying to be a smart ellic but I'm sure no one cares at this moment what weight class anyone goes. Weight is a horrible subject to speak on during the summer, if it were up to me it'd be non existant because people shouldn't worry about it. Like a famous screen name says JUST WRESTLE. On the subject of Jude though, I see him winning it at any weight he goes next year. Even if he bumped to 171 which probably would be a push but if he did I think he could give Hitchings a shot. Maybe it's style difference but Jude gave as much as Brown wanted, which I think Brown is one of the better wrestlers to come through KY, one of the last people to give Davis a good match. I've wrestled both Olhman and Jude, this was last year, but I'd have to give it to Olhman but ever since state seeing hom much Jude has improved I think he could take it to Olhman. My prediction is they won't be in the same weight though. I think it will pan out Shotwell 145 Olhman 152 and Jude 160 as the champs of those three weights. -
Then I guess there was one more class that was better recruited than they were. :-P Kentucky has always had tradition of picking up some of the best college basketball players, especially during the Petino era. Smith also had some very good recruits. I think Coach Cal will carry on that tradition and not only take control of the SEC again but the nation as well.

Also you have to be involved with the pro level more to suceed. You have to always always always be watching and gaining experience and when you are coaching college and around college level you don't have time to be around the pro level you know?

Kevin Jackson Iowa State new head coach
The Bear replied to BALL-N-CHAIN's topic in College Wrestling
This is a great fit, I think Jackson will do just as well if not better than Cael. I think this works well with both Penn St. and ISU. I think this will help NCAA wrestling as a whole. I still take my pick of Okie State being the team to look out for next few years. -
Yeah I dreaded wrestling him. When I was in the 8th grade I was the same weight as him (his junior+senior year) he beat the crap out of me. We were both the same weight it's just he benched 300 and i was lucky to get 135 lol He's been like a big brother to me though, always pushed me.

I'm sure he doesn't even know it's the begining of summer. BTW, who cares? -

That made no sense at all. please re-write that sentence so I can understand it. -
Kris Perry inspired me when I was a younger wrestler. Other than that never really had one.

And reality sets in. lol -
What people don't realize is that people have died from the regular flu each year than from swine flu bird flu etc.

I'd imagine if Fahy is healthy that he and Hitchings will go, CoachBrown can you confirm this? I'd like to see some of the tougher kids go to this tournament. Some of the Union, Woodford, and NKY schools could do well at this tourney.

Nice to see VA up there in the top 10. VA's like a second home to me.

Basically, he was trying to do the kid a favor. Let's just wait until season rolls around to see who actually "comes out" and "sticks with it". -
Cool, I know I will be down there for sure next week as many days as I can get open so feel free to come. I know we have a few kids around your weight and I'm always willing to roll around. If you need directions I can PM you my number. By the way BRING AS MANY KIDS AS YOU CAN!!!

I work at Wal-Mart in Oak Grove, Ky which for most who don't know is located off of I-24 and right down the road from Ft. Campbell. I'm a cashier and was checking some dude and a lady out and the guy was kinda short. They were both wearing these fancy Kentucky Derby jackets (north face type?) and I asked them how they liked it. The guy was like ah, it was alright. The lady was like it was awesome! Come to find out he said that he was a jockey in the derby! He got 6th place and said he was heading back to Louisiana. It was such a coincidence that someone like that who raced in that big of a race came to one of the smallest towns in KY and was traveling from so far up north. It was very awesome, anyone know who got 6th place? haha Me and my supervisor were talking about it and those odds are ridiculous! If you put 2 bucks down on that horse you would've left with 100 bucks! No wonder this is one of the biggest horse races there is!

Bradbury over Troxell.

The wrestlers on our team were lucky to get out of school to compete in the state tournament.

This is why I'm a fan of Okie State. http://www.flowrestling.org/videos/coverage/view_video/234927-beat-the-streets-gala-gold-medal-night/175288-john-smith-on-coaching-is-a-priviledge John Smith is one of the single most motivating coaches right below Dan Gable. I'm glad to say I had the privelage to meet these two guys in person.
