    The KWOA WILL BE HOLDING ITS ANNUAL FALL CLASSIC MIDDLE SCHOOL TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 5 AT TAYLOR CO. HIGH SCHOOL.  WE CURRENTLY HAVE 10 TEAMS COMMITTED AND ARE LOOKING TO ADD UP TO 16-18 TEAMS.  THIS IS A GREAT EARLY SEASON EVENT.   TEAMS ATTENDING CURRENTLY ARE:

    TAYLOR CO., LEGACY (IN), ANDERSON CO., BOYLE CO., OLDHAM CO., GREAT CROSSING, OLYMPUS, COLTS, CENTRAL HARDIN, AND LARUE CO.

The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association will be hosting the Julian Finley Memorial Tournament (formerly KWOA Spring Classic) once again this year after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.  This years event will be hosted at Ryle High School on March 19, 2022 and includes all levels from youth through high school.  I have attached a flyer.  We are looking to have a great turnout.

  4. The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association (KWOA) will be co-hosting our annual middle school event with Great Crossing High School to host The Battle at Georgetown Dual tournament (formerly KWOA Fall Classic).  The date will be Saturday November 20, 2021 at Great Crossing High School

    This will be a 20 team dual tournament guaranteeing each team 6 duals for the day.  Teams currently committed are Birdsnest wrestling, Shamrock, Walton-Verona, Boyle Co., Carr Wrestling Academy, Union Co., Central Hardin, IN Smackdown, and Paducah Tilghman.  The flyer is attached.

The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association (KWOA) will be hosting its annual fall middle school tournament on November 14, 2020 at Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, KY.  This is a USA Wrestling sanctioned event so USA Wrestling cards for competitors and all coaches are required.  This event will be open registration on Trackwrestling with payment online as well.  A detailed flyer for the event is attached.  Safety protocols will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all competitors, coaches, spectators, and officials.

    Taylor Co., Larue Co., Central Hardin, Boyle Co., Meade Co., North Hardin, Anderson Co., Shamrock, Carr Wrestling Academy, Woodford Co., Fern Creek., Colts Wrestling, Madison Co., Walton Verona, East Oldham, South Oldham, Fort Campbell, & Indiana Smackdown.  We still have rooms for a few more teams interested.


  7. The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association will be hosting the 2019 KWOA Winter Classic on Sunday December 29, 2019 at Larue Co. High School.  This will be a Youth Tournament and will be duals format.  We will accept the first 12 teams who would like to attend.

  8. The Kentucky Wrestling Officials Association (KWOA) will hold the fourth annual KWOA Fall Classic on Saturday November 9, 2019 at Taylor Co. High School.  This is a very competitive middle school event early in the season.

    Team that participated last year include: Taylor Co., Larue Co., Meade Co., Central Hardin, John Hardin,  North Oldham, South Oldham, East Oldham, Carr Wrestling Academy, Walton-Verona, Madison Co., Colt Wrestling Club, Boyle Co., Christian Co., McCracken Co., and Indiana Smackdown.
