There are several others at 138 from Kentucky who would be a major game changer in Kansas - especially with multiple divisions. Kentucky wrestling isn't as deep with talent as other states, but the top guys can compete anywhere.
-
Just heard that John Fahy is no longer wrestling for Illinois. That's too bad - hope he lands somewhere and gets back on the mat.

Ruttman has four wins over Daniel this season and at this point rankings don't mean anything anymore
Actually, the wins Ruttman had over Dyess don't mean anything. Dyess won when it counted.

Collins is in the finals

What happened to Kevin Cooper? He was on the UTC team in the spring at University Nationals, but is not listed on the roster this year. Also, I thought Justin Lampe was going to follow John to UTC? Hope these two are wrestling somewhere.

can we get an updated list
Here's a list of Kentucky wrestlers (with year of graduation), who are currently wrestling in the NCAA. This may not be complete, as several from last season aren't listed on the roster as returning.
2011
John Lampe - UTC
Caleb Ervin - Illinois
Daniel Urban - Cal. Baptist
2012
Garth Yenter - Michigan State
T.J. Ruschell - Wisconsin
Hardy Hendren - VMI
2013
Wade Willen - SIUE
Jayce Carr - Cleveland State
Gabe French - Indiana
2014
Nathan Boston - Iowa State
Brock Ervin - Illinois
Sean Fausz - NC State
Trae Blackwell - Oklahoma
It would be great to see a complete list of all Kentucky wrestlers who are currently wrestling at the next level so we can follow. Please update

Daniel Urban from Hopkinsville is competing at California Baptist University and is studying aviation.
Actually, Daniel Urban wrestled for University Heights Academy. UHA has two former wrestlers still competing: Wade Willen @ SIUE and Daniel Urban at California Baptist.

Is there a master list of all schedules for the 2014-2015 season?
-
What happened to Kevin Cooper at Chattanooga? He is not listed on the roster this year. Hope he is still wrestling.
-
University Heights usually has open mats during spring and summer
-
Are there any post-high school or college wrestlers attending?
-
Always hate to hear that any kid loses an opportunity to compete, especially a top notch kid like Burroughs. Happened to Wade Willen last season.
-
Are there usually any competitors in the university division?
-
Here's a list from another topic of the kids currently wrestling Division I, or signed for next year:
2011
John Lampe - UTC
Caleb Ervin - Illinois
2012
John Fahy - Illinois
Garth Yenter - Michigan State
T.J. Ruschell - Wisconsin
2013
Kevin Cooper - UTC
Wade Willen - SIUE
Jayce Carr - Cleveland State
Gabe French - Indiana
2014
Nathan Boston - Iowa State
Justin Lampe - UTC
Brock Ervin - Illinois
Sean Fausz - NC State
A Division One program in Kentucky would be great, but would require some serious recruiting out of state to compliment the in-state talent.
-
That list also needs Stephen Myers at Ohio University now
I heard he was going to Lindsey Wilson?

There are several topics on this, but I can't find a comprehensive list of all the Kentucky boys wrestling (or committed to wrestle) in the NCAA. Here's what I have:
2011
John Lampe - UTC
Caleb Ervin - Illinois
2012
John Fahy - Illinois
Garth Yenter - Michigan State
T.J. Ruschell - Wisconsin
2013
Kevin Cooper - UTC
Wade Willen - SIUE
Jayce Carr - Cleveland State
Gabe French - Indiana
2014
Nathan Boston - Iowa State
Justin Lampe - UTC
Brock Ervin - Illinois
Sean Fausz - NC State

UT Chattanooga intensive camp is the best local camp I have seen. No frills, no special camp technique - just hard work and a lot of wrestling. Rocco Mansuetto is a beast.
-
Wade Willen was unable to compete due to another setback with mono, which kept him out of postseason also. Good luck to the Kentucky boys!
-
Believe Grant was AA after transferring from UK
-
Scott Meredith is going to step in at UHA. Haven't heard anything about the Hoptown position.

November 9, 2013
Sixth Annual Tim French Memorial
University Heights Academy
Hopkinsville, KY
Bracketed Tournament

any results?

I heard Montgomery may be at SIUE as well but not my say or call and not for sure perhaps just rumors , a tough kid though .
According to a very good source the rumor is not true. Montgomery isn't wrestling at the next level.
Hope to see the list of Kentucky collegiate wrestlers grow over the next few months!

Any divisions for the old guys? I mean the really old guys?
