I don't have a problem with people giving their opinions. I do have a problem with this guy using a name close to ranger, copying rangers listing and making some minor, uneducated changes and reposting it as if he did all the work. I appreciate Rangers efforts, want to continue to encourage him to do so and although he may not be accurate in all cases, he is pretty darned accurate. And it is nice to have something like this. In my opinion, the coaches (KWCA) rankings lack depth and effort, period. Keep up the good work, Ranger123.

I haven't seen Slone wrestle but I'll stick with Ohlman. He is a freshman and has made a few freshman mistakes but overall he is a very strong wrestler and learns from his mistakes. He beat Lewis at State duals so I think he can come out of that bracket ok.

Jackson and peace are on same side of the bracket at 140 so they won't be in the final...peace will win.

Not sure why Region 4 is not posting. 130 was Miller St. X over Poole Seneca in 3/4. I just didn't keep track of the rest myself.

This is a major milestone for Luna. As we move to wrestling next year, we will see what his character is really made of. I hope he comes back with a new outlook on wrestling and he turns his frustration into positive emotion on the mat. It has been a tough year for him. We'll see what next year brings.

I have to agree with Cmlswrstlng on Lewis. I don't think he has the discipline or endurance to pull it off in the next 8 days. I would see him placing but not in the finals. I have only seen him wrestle once (at state duals) and he ran out of gas literally in the 3rd period.

Brad Hitchings is a Freshman. Lewis's brother went to Ballard until his Senior year. He moved to Trinity after he was told by Ballard (the wrestling coach either retired or died) that they wouldn't have a wrestling program that next year. After he started at Trinity, Ballard changed their mind and kept the wrestling program. Jordan lost his last year of eligibility because he could not claim that Ballard didn't have a wrestling program. He placed third at 125 as a Junior in 2004 for Ballard losing only to Jacob Murton. It was very unfortunate but I know he continued to wrestle nationally that year.

I am amazed that so many messages have been posted discussing a hypothetical matchup that never occurred because it was never meant to be. What if Caleb Wood wrestled Matt Eck. What if John Wolsiefer decided to wrestling Mark Jones. Why waste your time. Talk about matches that are actually going to happen.

Several other regions already have the seedings for the regional. Is that available for Region 4 yet?

Almost positive that it was only 1 or 2 points and it might have been an OT win.

Bradbury beat Vaughn by decision to win the Dragon Invitational.

Myron Bradbury from Trinity should definitely be at the top of the list of favorites but Martin will be hard to beat.

I have to say I am puzzled by the forgone conclusion that Woodford would have won any of the 4 pools regardless of the method of seeding. They lost to Larue and got beat by Trinity rather handily as well. I think Union, even with a number of key wrestlers out due to illness, would have been extremely competitive as well against Woodford and given them a run for their money. Finally, Seneca is extremely strong overall. I think Woodford would have ended up in the consolation pool regardless.

For 119, Barton (Trinity) beat both Chui and Norwood in Jefferson county and beat Norwood again. I think he will be hard to beat. 125 Fuller better watch out...Grant Ohlman from Trinity beat woodfords's Coty Lewis over the weekend at State Duals; you obviously don't know anything about 130. Condon won't beat Hitching's ever again:
