Or to put it more directly, this is a High School program and I believe participation should be limited to those individuals who are in High School. There are well developed programs for the athletes who are in middle school already.

Trinity only won the tournament by 3 points. A pin by Mason would have given Ryle a better chance to win the tournament. Are you saying he could have pinned him but he just wanted to play with him? I wonder what his team thinks about that.:?

A couple that I am aware of are St. X and Trinity (Fr, JV and Varsity) all in one event. The second that has really developed into a strong rivalry is Seneca and Trinity. Always intense and close.

I am in no way a Luna fan but he took the #6 Dustin Thomas to overtime in his first match back but lost in the first OT by 2. He looked a bit winded but very strong physically. I predict he'll be top 10 after Dragon. He may get a shot at wrestling a few more higher ranked wrestlers as the #'s 5,7,8,9,10,13,14,15 and 17 will be there.

Harrison is really good. In the most recent national rankings for Juniors, he is 18th in the nation. Shaking hands with opposing coaches is a great thing and KY should be proud. It shows class...if they do it right. It has always puzzled me why SO does this. At first, it bothered me, especially when their wrestler would rush in front of the opposing wrestler to shake their coaches hand first. Now it just seems like an interesting tradition and I don't think anything of it. I would be interested to hear if there is anything deeper in the meaning from one of the SO coaches or wrestlers.
