I wish I was a freshman last year to see Kyle. I've seen how awsome Murton but I've never got to see Ruschell.

I agree Ben did good at 140 but next season I definatly see him goin' at least 145 if not 152

I made a point of watching all of his matches because I knew he used it in almost every single match. He split our 135. After the match was over, he just layed there with his face in the mat. There was one time when a guy had me split and it was so bad that I tried to stick myself and I couldn't because of the position I was in. It was the worst thing i've ever experienced in a match.

Well, i'm not what you would call a fan of WC at all. I'm actually the exact opposite. But with all of that put aside, I can't deny the fact that they did have a great team. 5 state champs is incredible.

One of my most memorable moments was when my teammate Austin [160], whos blind, was gettin' beat pretty bad by the fairidale 160. The guy had him in a kay-kay and it looked like it was all over. The one thing about Austin is that hes a pretty straight forward, defensive wrestler. This caused him to get put on his back pretty soon in the match. Hes was pretty inexperienced and didnt know a whole lot about defending or reversing moves like this. Right as his other shoulder hit the mat he let out a big yell and drove his feet like hell into the mat. He gave him a hard enough bridge to flip him and stick him late in the third period. This was one of the first matched I saw that really inspired me because he was such an underdog in the match. People were crying and screaming and it was just a great moment for him and us.

Maybe this is a stupid questions, but, if you place high enough in your region and make it to state, how do they decide who you wrestle. Is it just like normal and you get seeded according to your record and whos beat you, or is it done differently.

Exactly what I was thinking. I know Edwards is a good wrestler but against Powers, i'd think Joe would come out on top. But who knows, Ben's a good wrestler.

Its both. Tournies are more individual and duals and stuff like that are all about the teams. Its all about the way the wrestler percieves it. If he makes it about the team, its about the team. If he makes it about his own person best, then it individual.

i've actually found that cutting alot of weight can be a big huge disadvantage. I started at about 170 and got as low as 135. Cutting all that weight really did a number on my strength. I finally got some of it back when i got used to the weight but in the begining it really hurt my ability.
