It looks like Aaron is bigger than Adam. Adam at 112 and Aaron at 119 is where they will most likely be come time of regionals. -
Who do you think will win regionals this year? What wrestlers will come up big in the regional tournament?
-
Since Union looks to be the top, what teams will be in the contending for the champ or runner-up spot?
-
Isaac Ervin from Union pinned in all his matches (5-0) at Tates Creek. He looked impressive since bumping up from 119 to 130.

Yes he did lose to Matt Zarth from Henry Clay in a contraversal match. He is bigger than Adam. Jarvis Elam and Aaron are neck and neck when wrestling. IT works out best for the line-up with Aaron at 119. -

A kid that looked impressive at the Tates Creek Duels was from Union Co. Jarvis Elam. He went 5-0 on the day with 3 pins. He beat Tates Creek, Dunbar, Harrison Co., Henry Clay, and a weak Montgomery Co. kid. Last year he beat Pat Wimbleduff of Caldwell in a duel meet and won the Caldwell Co. tournament beating a guy from Fern Creek in the Finals as a back-up 103 behind both the Carr brothers. -
I heard that Isaac Ervin from Union County(3rd at 119 last year as a freshmen who beat caleb wood) is going 130 this year.

Adam Carr from Union has beaten Luna before at the state duals. How can Luna be ranked ahead of Carr? -
aaron carr will be a 103 next year...he has a tough guy to wrestle off to get that position against jarvis elam (he went 18-0 in varsity matches this year)
-
I think that one of the biggest upsets was when Isaac Ervin beat Caleb Wood. It was an exciting match, and he ended up beating Chui in the 3rd place match.

watching isaac ervin (119) beat defending state champ caleb wood. watching chance puckett (112) pin luna in the 3rd place match. -
union county won the tournament with 228 points and Franklin, TN, had 221. Adam Carr and Chance Puckett pinned all of their guys. Isaac Ervin lost to Dustin Ortiz from Franklin 8-5 in finals. Miles Risinger lost to Matt Mines(Ft. Campbell) 7-3 in the finals. Mitch Ervin (UNION 145) was winning 6-2 in the second period against Franklin's 145 Kelly Felix (state champ) but hurt his ankle and had to stop the match. Cody Walls(160) of caldwell county was the MVP. Richard Coleman (215) UNION was pinned byEric Frazzitta of Kenwood, TN, in the finals. But, Ohio Counties heavyweight Adam Burdin was pinned by Union's Robert Dunn in the 3rd place match in the first minute. That was a suprise. Team Scores: 1st. Union co.-228 2nd. Franklin TN- 221 3rd. carr will be going 103 this year even though his little brother aaron (2x middle school state champ) could take 103 and adam go 112.

Trigg doesn't have a program right now as of this moment. They are trying to get Jason Walls to coach a program there since he teaches at Trigg. Look for a team in the upcoming years tho. I feel he is anxious to get a team going.
