    That's OK Ryle doesn't recruit in state.  Thet are wroking on 2 Iowa kids and 1 rfrom New Jersey  :roll:

    This maybe the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. Do you have sources in Iowa and New Jersey or something? The fact of the matter is most states wont let kids wrestle in Varsity in being in MS still so they move south. This is one the closest states for some of those wrestlers to wrestle at. Lets face it if you look over the last 6 years Ryle has been the most consistent program and thats where they go. They have a great program and a great assistant coach in Rick Barker. Everyone always loves to hate the program thats on top. Im sure they are talking to Hall and trying to get him to stay but who wouldnt. I am also sure if you knew this for a fact you would be the first one crying to the KHSAA. Ryle's coaching staff is a group of not only good coaches but classy guys.

    No its not.  Sorry but Ryle's chickenhawking plan didn't work.  Wonder who the 119 pounder for Ryle who lost his spot was?  Must feel great for him!

    Get a grip you act like Ryle went on a hunt to bring someone in. The facts are Hall called Trinity and they wont allow Middle Schoolers to partcipate in Varsity events then he called the next best team i.e. Ryle and went there. Please tell me your not so lame that you will try to rain on a 7th graders accomplishment.

    As far as Myron goes it was out of Myron's norm to act like that but there were a lot of emotions there and I can understand that. Like I told a friend though the sad part is thats how some people at the tournament will now remember him not everyone knows he apologized. Myron is a great kid and has a great future. Keep up the hard work!

    Kyle is now out of it, Starks is still wrestling in the third round of Consos.

    Both of Kyle's matches were real close and everything I gather from reading the blogs on Wisconsin's web page and from talking to some people Kyle was pretty banged up for this one. Well good luck next year! You got two more years left!

    I like Barnett which he is hands downt he best. Cole is another very good ref. I just think Catan does not belong there. Half the time he is to lazy to get in a decent position to count bank points... I mean come on if you are really to lazy to get your butt on the ground and count you dont belong there!

    I have no clue if this is possible but lets say we take our 14 state champs and put them on one team and took them to the beast!!!  Everyone talks so much smack about KY wrestling so lets take our best boys and throw them out against the best of the best.

    Is that a possability or no???

    Wow. 

    It is amazing how so many people are planning this kids future out.

    There are several possibilities here.

    1.  Maybe he does plan to go to a big name D1 wrestling school.

    2.  Maybe he has no interest in D1 and just wants to wrestle in college.

    3.  Maybe he has no interest at all in wrestling in college.

    4.  Maybe ha has no interest in college at all. 

    5.  Maybe his true interests are in things more important than wrestling. I know this is hard to believe, but many athletes forgo their college careers and persue academic accomplishments.  How difficult would it be for an individual to go to pre-med or some other academically challenging field and wrestle at the same time.

    I feel sorry for this kid. 

    Not only is he trying to defend a state championsip title. He is also trying to become a rare 4 time state champion.  On top of this he is trying to complete a 4 year undefeated high school career. 

    With all this on his plate.  He has people criticizing him for being at a lower wt, for not competing at high level tournaments on his own accord without his team. 

    Let him be and let him do whatever he wants to do.  None of us MYSELF INCLUDED.  Knows what is best for this kid.  He, his parents and his coach have a much better understanding of what is better for this tremendous individual.

    Im not planning anyones future. Im simply saying if you want to be considered one of the best then wrestle the best. Plain and simple! Kyle did it, Murton did it, Peace is doing it and so is Reid.

    I am pretty sure Reid or Peace wont be there this weekend. Isn't the Beast this week??? If so we wont be seeing Reid or Peace this weekend which blows but I def. would not pass up the oppurtunity for the Raider Rumble if I had the chance!

    Conner will also be down this week we are missing all our sr's. Ryan Dillion, Corey Boger, Matt O'Bryan and thats all i can think of off the top of my head. They will all be taking their ACT's. Just some quick news!

    I-Pinned-em-all I agree with your statement of how good Mason Reid is and Mason is a great get. But saying he will pin through this year is a very bold statement. Maybe he will pin all the way through KY. But remember he has a true test at Beast of the East this week. If he can pin through that he is hands down the best wrestler in this state.

    As far as Sullivan goes he is good you cant take anything away from a undefeated 3 time state champ. But why does he not adventure up to the beast and just prove his greatness??? I mean that in all seriousness. Im not bashing him by any means. I think as good as he is he should travel up there and put his wrestling skills to a true test. Is he going to go to Sr. Nationals this year??? I just think he should really be tested outside this state. Just my opinion.

    yeah kelly would did you even watch the fanils this year starks was having a hard time with jones. kelly beat jones that all to be said b\if he dind't hurt his arm ryan kelly would be a state champion right now

    You cant say what if...they didnt wrestle. Mark Jones won and then lost to Will. Plain and simple Will Starks is your state champ at 189. This thread has nothing to do w/ Ryan Kelly its about Jones, Reid, and Starks or so I assumed from the title?? :?
