Im really tired if hearing you all crying so much about how bad your program is. If you want to be good stop getting on here and asking everyone and spend this time on the mat. I think its a joke how everyone of you all had girls down there you were running around with. Some of the things that you all do make alumni sick and im not one of them because I did stupid stuff to. You think it makes your Dad, Matt Shotwell, Your Uncles, Kevin Delk, Ryan Puthoff, etc....happy to see how you all act and respect Coach Badida. No one can help you until you all want to help yourself!!!! The helps there but no one of you want to take advantage of it. Everytime I have asked you to attend a camp I get a lame excuse. JUST A SINGLE CAMP!!! How many camps and matches do you think great state champ attend a year. This thread is a joke and a disrespect to Coach. Be a leader and stop getting on here and posting trash like this. Goes for you and any other wrestler or parent who gets on here and bashes the program. SUCK IT UP!

No doubt I know Mr. Simmions was a def. help w/ me. I think he can really help Dixie if their wrestlers are willing to work.

Where did the other kid go? Im just wondering because I was told he quit and didnt come back and he was a heck of a wrestler. I talked to Nolan and said he would have probaly wrestled 71 the next year and would have been an animal. Just going from what I was told.

Whats amazing about Nolan is he spent much of his Jr. year at JV. He did not start wrestling Varsity until half way through the year after the varsity guy quit.

Ya I dont think it should be taken personal. But he might have gotten "Wooped" but he got it under the lights. Which is better then getting it in the consos.

Nolan has my vote for most underated wrestler. He was a JV wrestler coming into the state tournament and walked away with a state title. Going into the tournament it was like "Who is Mike Nolan?"

Read the post above I should not have to explain myself again. But for the sake of this conversaion I will. DEPENDING on where the BITE is I have put a cross face on someone before and have had teeth marks on where my hand or arm was crossing the mouth. Again Wise should have brought this to the attention of the ref. Now how do you explain 5 Inch scrathes on a 4 to 5inch neck. Now if this was me and I was going for 3rd or 4th I would have brought this to the refs attention. But he didnt so my apologizes to you and Wise. Tell me you would have not done the same...or tell me that you have never had a tooth mark on a hand where a crossface has been thrown. For all I know though he could have bit his leg. Im just going off where 9 out of 10 "Bites" occur and wrestlers are forced to DQ. Its also a physical sport things happen. My explanations are above. Again there is no need to get on here and call someone a cheat, or said they won unfair its taking away from ones hardwork, and there ability to wrestle. Now, cant we move into the real topic here the BEST WRESTLERS TO NEVER WIN STATE!! Not the half way decent ones who didnt. If you want to talk about this label it the Best Cheaters Who never won state on a diffrent forum. Im assuming would be a great topic or this what im sure you would call it.

Eaglewrestler12, If this did happen there are two problems and Im not calling you a liar. If you were able to see the marks Wise should have brought it do the attention of the Ref and if you dont know the rules its an auto DQ. Now I dont know where the marks were but I have thrown cross faces and caught teeth and not called it unfair. Now 5 inch scrathes if your going to tell a story dont get out of hand w/ it. Wise is a big kid but a 5 inch neck is a nice size neck. Also this would have led to a DQ. Another thing accidents to happen I have always been told to have a tight collar tie so if the ref did not check his nails good enough and a tight collar tie was applied it could have left marks. To sit here and call someone unfair is a joke and insult to ones abilities. I doubt any of the following scrathes or "bites" had anything to do with the win. Maybe it was because Stone took him down and Wise didnt get one. Or maybe it could have been a coaching strategy. So think about how you take things out of hand and how you accuse people before you type on here.

Check out the year before between Wise and Stone. These are not just from this year its from the Best Ever. Year after year. Ridge45, This is not about peak ability its about "BEST EVER" the fact of the matter is Dale, Wise, or Hardin are not even in the top 10. So I dont know why this is even an argument at the time.

Well I think it was very obvious the Byrd's arm was a big factor..and he was not what he was his soph. year. Second thing Wise was a good wrestler but I dont think he was as tough as your making him out to be...and he never wrestled dale. Plee, Keith never wrestled 171 the lowest he wrestled was 215 :wink:

I think Martinko got the easy side of a bracket his sr. year. IMO

HA HA....Jason Hardin if your going to mention him lets mention Dale Stone because he owned him um...twice.

I didnt mean it made him worse dont get me wrong. My point was his losses in the season came from some of the best wrestlers in the country

Some advice from someone who has been in the shoes you are in...take these rankings and put them in your locker...You will start knocking off opponets which are ranked higher then you and you still wont move you might even drop. Who cares he makes the feeling that much more intense when your under the lights and people are saying "Who is this guy??" These things dont mean a thing....no offense...Dont get caught up in them you dont want to wrestle the rankings you want to wrestle your opponets. When you wrestle the rankings you lose. Laugh at these things have fun w/ them...and just WIN!!

I know im a little late as far as Starks getting robbed post goes...this is all very true about where he is going what he did during the season but the fact of the matter is its not Most Outstanding Wrestler of the year its what you did in the tourn. and Murton dominated with true class...This is no offense to Richard he is a heck of a wrestler and will be a huge contributor at the Academy. If you want to go back to the rest of the season though....Murton was defeated because of tournaments like the Best of the East he wrestled in....Plain and simple
