Ah there's only one thing to do with those kind of refs. There is no place for them up here so I'm afraid we'll have to give em' the boot, and send him to Alabama. :-D

The worst refs i have ever seen are down in Alabama. Our team went to the Tuscaloosa Duals in Northport, Al. They were not consistent with any calls. Two kids could be out of bounds with one kids toe still in the mat and they would not call out of bounds. They would call a take down if a kids feet were still in on one match but the next match they wouldn't call that a takedown. A kid would be stuck and they wouldn't call it but if the ref liked the team he would call a pin for the other kid just like that if the first kids back was on the mat for one second. There were no stalling calls, they have no clue what "potentially dangerous" means (until a kids arm is ripped out of his socket), i saw kids hands and legs touch when getting set for bottom, saw kids pulling each individual finger in front of the referee's eyes, and last but not least they didn't know the difference between a crossface and a punch. So really I'm thankful to be back in Kentucky. The referees are more consistant and know what they are doing here than any other state I've wrestled in.

Who all is going to an "out of state" tournament over the Christmas break?

I've heard that this tournament might go to be a 3 day tournament. Is this true?

The reason Woodford is ranked first is because they have 10 people ranked. They have at least four people who are predicted to be in the finals and at least 4 others who are predicted to place. That is kind of hard to beat as a team. Also the way they set up the state tournament there is no way Woodford could loose.

sometimes things just make you snap and make bad decisions, hopefully he can get his head straight and come back to his team.

At the Caldwell tournament cory armstrong got 1st and pinned ringkor of ohio county and beat cody traylor of caldwell. donnie thomas got 1st. and jake skinner got 1st and pinning paul marks in the finals. mitchell from caldwell is going 140. johnson from ft. campbell is going 130 and i think got 3rd at caldwell only loosing to marks. by the way cody traylor is not ranked big mistake... also look out for kyper from ohio county at 140. The only reason you prolly havent heard of traylor is because he got injured at region last year and couldnt wrestle at state. and kyper quit last year but has now came back looking tougher than ever. both are state placers.

Has Luna and Carr wrestled yet? If not I would like to state an opinion. I think that Carr should be above Luna for one fact that Carr knows how it feels underneath the spotlight, twice.

Minimum i think is 1 weigh in at the class with 4 matches.

I cannot name anyone specific to put above him because I usually don't wrestle at tournaments Trinity is at and see who can beat him. It's just when I wrestled him he was just a very sloppy wrestler. But I don't know how he's improved since the last time we wrestled. Nothing to knock him, just speaking my mind, but If he does get beat by people lower ranked than him i won't be suprised.

i didn't want to mention it but since you brought it up i think hitchings is not as good as people think he is. i think that in time when he finds competition that people will see how well he is. dusty brown is way underated he was looking top notch at the superduals.

some noteable matches daniel thueman beat golsby of holmes.. pretty bad haha luna vs. zepp, luna won i believe. "i'm goin byrd huntin" byrd vs. young byrd controlled the whole match really young didnt come close. starks vs. oldhams 215 was an intense match. shane parks vs. chui was a good match chui won. dusty brown looked good but i dont think he can go 130. Seneca looks pretty tough this year.
