Why would we reschedule to a date when another tourney is already scheduled? Wouldn't it be best to schedule on an off weekend? Not trying to be difficult; just asking.

Nelson County was unable to host the event due to renovations to their gym. We tried to look for another venue on April 14 but were unable to secure a venue. April 28 was the next available date. Thanks to Fern Creek for steeping up & hosting the event.

I'm very interested in competing in this event but I have a few questions.

Is there an Open division? If not, please disregard the following questions.

What is the entry fee?

What weight classes will be used?

I don't have a Sambo kurtka. is a BJJ gi acceptable?

What time are weigh ins?

Is a USA Wrestling card required?

Is there an official event flier or website available?

Thanks

Since the date has been moved to the 28th, come prepare for the tournament with Ohio State Head Coach Tom Ryan at Elder H.S., (15 min. from NorthernKY)!

BIG CHANGE! ALL WRESTLERS, ALL GRADES WELCOME!--Due to interest, we have added coaches to work with the younger wrestlers in a designated area on all the techniques Coach Ryan shows. So the camp is now open to 1st thru 12th graders. Also, if wrestler wants to come, but can only do one of the days, 50.00 for the long day on Saturday, 25.00 for the shorter day on Sunday.

Premier Technique Wrestling and Elder High School will host Buckeyes head coach Tom Ryan (NCAA D-I Coach of the Year, 2009) for a 2-Day camp on Saturday, April 14 (10am-3pm), and Sunday, April 15 (10am-12pm). Wrestlers bring lunch to Saturday's session.

Technique, drilling, and live wrestling will be the major components of this camp

Cost will be 75.00 per wrestler for entire camp.

Would like to see a good turnout for the KY Freestyle, Greco, Folkstyle, & Sombo State Tournament in 2 weeks on April 28 at Fern Creek HS in Louisville. This is a good opportunity for wrestlers to try something new & wrestle Fresstyle and/or Greco. If you plan on attending Fargo, it is highly suggested that you wrestle in this event. Any questions, please contact Garrett Pikul at gpikul01@gmail.com.

There will be another weigh-in tonight, 04/27, from 6:00-8:00 in the wrestling room at Fern Creek. If you'd like to weigh-in this evening and avoid lines in the morning, please feel free to come tonight. Just a reminder, since this is a freestyle & greco event, all wrestlers MUST weigh-in wearing a singlet. Also, please review the flyer and take note of when each age division is scheduled to wrestle. Looking for a good turnout for this event. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions (gpikul01@gmail.com).
