bigedcoach 27 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Ok I dont know what thread I should post but Im putting my predictions here 106 Thompson (Des) vs Whalen (HC) Winner - Thompson, bigger , stronger also like Reric (Laf) 113 Killbrew (CC) vs Blackwell (UN) Winner Blackwell also like Shirkey (OC), Adam (Ryle) has the best draw in a deep weigh class 120 Yenter (CaC) vs Paden (LaRue) Winner Yenter also like Brown (WV) 126 Ruschell(Ryle) vs Ervin (UN) Winner Ervin also like Fauz (CaC), Bisenius (SO) 132 Perez (Lar) vs Carr (UN) Winner Carr also like Lampe (X) 138 Fahey (Tri) vs Hamilton (CaC) also , not a fan of this weight class 145 Cooper (SK) vs Jacobs (Sou) Winner Cooper also so many kids can come out of the bottom bracket I even like Meiman from Ryle 152 Myers (CaC) vs Lane Jones (WV) Winner Myers lso like Preston (JC) 160 Hitchings (Tri) vs Hull (Larue) Winner Hitchings also like Rusch (NO) , Jarvis (Cen) 170 Jude (JC) vs Bell (Dan) Winner Jude also like, bottom bracket is loaded and Bell has the best draw in the top 182 Tompkins (X) vs ????? bigedcoach 27 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Polley is on the same side as Cooper, Maupin/Jude will be a heck of a match, Just think 138 is Fahey and the rest of the weigh class, Brown has a great draw
Notfromhere 6 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 138 Fahey vs Clay
EMS Coach Cardwell 17 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Biged, we are all entitled to opinions, but your 138 opinion is pretty harsh. There are definately some tough kids here. I admire them for not running to other weight classes. Clay is 42-1 this year, Hamilton has been on a roll, and yes Fahy is the favorite. I do seem to remember an "unbeatable" 3 timer going for his 4th tiltle and coming up short in the finals a few years back. Anyways, I just wanted to say my peace about it. Good luck to everyone this weekend.
bigedcoach 27 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 I have actually seen Clay wrestle and it was hard to pick a winner between Hamilton and Clay, I didnt mean to sound so harsh but picking this weight class was easy, just dont see a lot of depth here, I remember my sophmore year when someone was going for title number 5 and lost

Just didn't want to down play any of the contenders. Good picks, should be a great weekend.
Mpire 76 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 Didn't know a fresh losing to a sr returning st champ was considered an upset ,let's be real if a fresh in any state in the country defeats a sr returning st champ in the finals of the state tourney he's MOW and it's an upset of epic proportions ,I see where this is going and should by some. Chance he actually pull it off and get disrespected I'm sure the rest of the country would be laughing at good ole boy politics here in KY,but more concerning to many would be how he takes it out on the comp the next 3 yrs , let's be honest how many fresh you know have ever won state wrestling up let alone under his circumstances, safe tourney and trip to everyone this weekend
