Freestyle Tournaments

Recommended Posts

I have decided to help build our freestyle program in KY by becoming the director of freestlye for KY USA Wrestling. Most of our Saturdays are full but I would like to hold some freestyle tournaments this year if possible. Would anyone be interested in wrestling in tournaments either during the week once school is out or on Sundays? If interest is there I will host some tournaments.

FINALLY!

This is what Kentucky needs, freestyle in my opinion is a whole lot more exciting the folkstyle. It forces action. Plus it will improve you on ur feet.

I would be interested in bringing some of my wrestlers to try it out, but none of them or me know anything about the differences in freestyle. Any suggestions as to learning without putting the kids in a position to possibly get hurt?
