New high school rankings are out

Recommended Posts

I was disappointed that Anthony Bailey wasn't mentioned with the heavy weights.  He has amazing speed and strength for a big guy, what a fun kid to watch.

That is only the 1st criteria.  It does not say that it was the highest or most important criteria.  My guess would be that Brown has been at more tournaments than Davis.  Therefore giving him more notoriety.

IE.  If you have a wrestler that was a national champion won the Beast of the East yet was defeated at his state tourney.  I'm sure that he would still be ranked above that individual that defeated him at his state tourney.

One match does not always prove the better wrestler.

Yeah, i can see your point. JD really does need to get to some more major national tournaments. He would've done well at junior nationals. Theres just not enough support at Eastern to get our guys out there )=

Eagle wrester,

It's quite simple.  Dusty was reached All American status at High school nationals.  Davis did not.  I have said this a million times.  In order for KY wrestlers to be ranked nationally, they need to place at nationals or equivalent tournaments such as the Beast of the East or the Ironman, Fargo etc.
