1.Trinity

2. Ryle

3. South Oldham/ John Hardin?

5. Saint Xavier

  That's the top 5 finishes.

There were some really good matches this year, and a lot of potential state placing match ups.  Great tournament.

Definitely a good tournament and well-run. Several final matches were fun to watch -- notably Ohlmann/Johnson, Davis/Branch, Reid/Hitchins

Yes, you're right. And some of the wrestle backs were good, too. Ryle, Trinity, John Hardin looked pretty strong. St. X is better than they've been in recent years. Woodford is down -- allowing their guys to weigh in late while they cut, which is what I heard they did, is hurting them, I think.

Did Coty Lewis from Woodford Co. wrestle today???

Yes -- looked out of shape, couldn't even win 7th, and cost his team a point by throwing his headgear

John Hardin came in 4th.  for them only having 7 of their varsity wrestlers thats pretty dang good.

1. 217.5  Trinity

2. 214.5  Ryle

3. 146.5  South Oldham

4. 143    John Hardin

5. 139.5  Saint Xavier

Very well run tournament.

Referee's made everyone wrestle, many stalling calls on both and penalty points awarded.

Everyone has an idea of how state will be.  DON't step back more than two steps, circle to the center and keep moving: both top and bottom.

Did Trinity have Josh Lewis? If not, this was an even more impressive win.

Josh did not wrestle.

Yeah Trinity looked pretty good. two champions and 3 runners-up.  And I don't know how many 3rd & 4th.

Hitchings wrestled Newsome for 1st Reid didnt wrestle.

You obviously were'nt there.  Reid made hitchings look sad in the finals.  Keep beating on him, taking him down, letting him up, and Hitchings was completely gassed.

Daniel Wiexler and Kyle Hardin from Fern Creek placed third with Derek Branch being the only finalist placing second.  Congrats to these seniors.
