Explain 132, 170, 220 seeding to me.

132 is puzzling, but I thought it should have gone Thornton, Peyton, Hoppes.

That is how I had it. Following criteria, I only had a handful where I couldn't predict the order. Thornton undefeated and runner up, Peyton ahead of Hoppes for head to head, Hoppes 1 loss and returning runner up. Cain has one loss but placed 4th. It has to be fixed somehow.

Trinity still has 102 points eventhough their semistate score was corrected to reflect only 100 team points.

You have to make sure you go through the entire grid so get total seeding points. Weird things can happen where a kid loses a point to a “lower” guy and drops him in the overall order.

State placement last year is a BIG deal!

For kids with no head to head and limited common opponents that’s what it comes down to.

Head To Head Common Place Record
Isaac Thornton 1-0 (cain) tied 2 14-0
Eli Peyton 1-0 (hoppes) tied NP 21-1
Thomas Hoppes 0-1 tied 2 33-1
Jacob Cain 0-1  tied 4 35-1

Cain lost to Thornton so he is behind Thornton. Hoppes lost to Peyton, so he is behind Peyton. Hoppes placed 2nd so he is ahead of Cain.
Should be 1 Thornton, 2 Peyton, 3 Hoppes, 4 Cain.

But Cain steals a point from Peyton. In the end I think 132 is fine.

If nothing else at least we have new things to discuss.

Woodford County with only 2 “placers” doesn’t feel real to me.

They had to go to semi state with Region 6 which is pretty deep in most weight classes.

What's the question at 170?  It looks close to me, maybe flip the 5&6 seed.  Outside of that what's the issue?  Look out for Kiser he could finish top 3, kid is tough for being so young.

It looks like they seeded the head to head and went off records after that.  That bracket has 7 qualifiers and 4 placers from last year.  Lets not forget about the 2x Champion waiting to put it on anyone that steps on the mat with him.
