Union County in St. Louis

Union County placed 4th at the St. Charles West tournament in St. Louis this weekend, behind Edwardsville, Illinois, Waynesville, Missouri and Francis Howell, Missouri. 

Saul Ervin was dominant in winning the tournament at 120.

Bryce Sheffer lost in a tie breaker to the #1 ranked large school 126 pounder in Missouri.

Micah Ervin lost by tech fall to the #1 ranked 132 pounder in Missouri.

Chance Oxford lost by tech fall to the #1 ranked 138 pounder in Missouri.

A solid effort, with 5 finalists and 2 in the 3rd place match.  Still, UC will need more from their second level kids to hang at the state tournament.
