    Border Dual Tournament WEST VIRGINIA

We are having our 1st ever Border Dual Tournament on January 6th 2018. We are located in Parkersburg, West Virginia nestled on the Ohio River. The goal of our tournament is to get 2 of the top schools from each of West Virginia's bording states (Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland.) The format would be 3 pools of 4 teams. Everyone will wrestle their group and then be re-grouped into a new pool according to your dual record within your pool with a guarantee of 5 matches. Our facilities are some of the best in the state, we can get 5 full size mats inside of the field house which is a horseshoe design that can seat 1,200 people on the raised level so all mats are easily visible. This location houses events such as concerts, boxing events, and school events to name a few. Last year Parkersburg hosted their first ever college dual match where Virginia Tech and West Virginia University came and put on a duel match for the community to come and it sold out almost instantly(Dual is on flow). This is a great opportunity for your athletes to come to one of the most storied wrestling high schools in the state and show what they've got! There is a Hampton Inn a half a mile away from our field house, along with many other hotel accommodations in the immediate area. My email is znolan79@gmail.com and my cell is 304-615-5235

  6. I came, I saw, I slammed!!!! I would like to invite you all to participate in the Seymour Slam Folkstyle Open on Saturday, January 24th, 2015! This is a USA Wrestling sanctioned event for pre-k through middle school or peewee-cadet (no High School wrestlers). Last year we had a good cross section of different teams from Kentucky, Indianapolis and South Central Indiana. We are expecting teams from Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Central Indiana, and Illinois this year. This is a great tournament to wrestle different opponents that you will not see during the year. Last year we ran an organized tournament with coaches or coaching parents only downstairs. Spectators will be upstairs to keep the floor clear. However, we will allow parent coaches to coach their wrestler if they are the coach (no other family members will be allowed around the mat). Full mats will be used! We are located an hour north of Louisville. You can view the awards in the attachment!
