  1. The Coaster Clash at Cedar Point Sports Center is taking team applications for the December 11, 2021 scholastic Jr. High and the December 12 Youth Tournament. All participants receive a free 5-day pass to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Parents and coaches can purchase discount tickets. The pass is good throughout the 2022 Cedar Point season. Jr. High Tournament Info There are over 30 teams that have already applied for the Jr High division. There will be multiple separate Jr. High tournaments at the same time. Teams will be put into separate divisions based on the number of male students in their school. All schools are listed in order of lowest to highest enrollment. We then take the 10 teams with the fewest student enrollment and place them in 1 division; the next 10 teams with fewest enrollment are placed into a tournament and we keep adding divisions every 10 teams. They are pool style tournaments. Based on a 10 team division, everyone receives 5 matches in the one day event. Entry fee is $225 per team or $25 per wrestler for teams of 9 or fewer wrestlers. The Youth tournament takes place the following day. More details on the youth tournament will be available soon. Both tournaments will fill up quickly. If you would like a contract for either event please click HERE to fill out the survey monkey application.
