My son took 4th, I will take it.. Last time it was a DNP.. So Ky is getting better all across the state! Honestly we all need each other, I root for any KY kid that competes out of state to do well.. That's the only way to get better.. Iron sharpen Iron.. The tougher we are on each other.. The better KY gets..

#KentuckyStrong #300 My son and his teammates compete in Nuway individuals competitions and other AAU. and some that don't do track... Like TOC and flow... Nobody is skeeered of competition... To suggest Ky kids don't go out of state to compete is not a fair statement ...But I agree it is unfortunate we had a NUWAY tournament in Kentucky and we didn't have a team to represent... Maybe next time.. I never heard about this event until now.. It is what it is.. It would have been fun to see how Ky did tho.

Need a coach who has a youngster wrestling to takeover.. Someone who will be around the middle school scene for the next 3 or 4 years..... Appreciate ya for doing what you could. Joe Newell from.Montgomery County Wrestled the #1 ranked 180 pound kid from Harrison county .. 2-2 and lost 4-2 with a last second takedown.. Joe missed weight by 4 ounces... Joe isn't super technical .... But he is STRONG... He will definitely make a run at placing at 170 ... Look up the HCIWT on Track.. The semis at 180... It was a great match...I hope he continues to get better... He is benching 315. .. Lol...

Could you do Region 8.

It's on Track Wrestling. . Under HCIWT... The tournament was running out of time Gabsty. .... So the consolation were canceled, But they got the finals done. They also had a all female wrestling tournament going on at the same time.. I didn't see those results anywhere.

I'm not sure if it's true or not... But I have been told that several coaches do not want there wrestlers getting ranked... My sons high school coach for one doesn't like it.. Not sure why? Maybe the wrestlers get a big head? Or worry about what the ranking says instead of putting there foot on the line and wrestling. . I won't lie.. I love looking at the rankings... I think it's very cool, That we can Rank are KY athletes and get them recognized and talked about.. It will NEVER be perfect. . I accept that.. It's one person trying to follow a entire state...
