Thank you for doing an impossible thankless job of ranking kids that may or may not ever wrestle beyond gradeschool. People need to remember it's not the end of the world if Jr isn't ranked. Or daughter. This is just fun conversation.

He signs that contract he does. I think less headaches for all.

Contracts are a must in todays world. AD's can handle it with out much time spent. Copy and paste makes it easy. I do think pre pay is a must. Inclement weather is fully refundable and should be highlighted in contract.

There's a few threads on youth wrestling. they mention weight cutting. This is my opinion it's dumb. They are children let them compete at whatever they weigh. Guy worried about 4th grade seed or something. Just baffles me. I'd be surprised if any have consulted a physician. You just hit the nail on the head. And drove it in with one swing. Everyone with a child or grandchild needs this posted somewhere.

It's little kids guys!!!!!!!!! Let them get the experience and stay healthy. And not get burned out. Hopefully continue on to sucessful high school and college careers. It's all practice till state series starts at the high school level. I've seen many great young wrestlers never step foot on the mat in high school. As far as complaining about refs. If youve never refereed a match you can not complain period. Humans make mistakes. You would make mistakes as well. THANK YOU TO ALL OFFICIALS

Insko and Conway should be interesting. 2-1 vs 2 is crazy for first meet. Starting off with a bang if they are all at their weights.

I completely agree with your philosophy. I would bump or ask the other coach to bump his kid up. Just to get 2 quality kids on the mat together. It's all practice until the state tournament series starts.

I'm confused by this big school, small school thing. We line up shoulder to shoulder and weigh in. You step on the mat with a guy that weighs the same as you do. You wrestle whomever is put in front of you. You're in a tournament mid season!! Oh he's from a big school lets forfeit? I know the argument will be lots of small schools can't fill out the weight classes. Lot's of big School can't either. No matter your school size youre most likely not gonna win state in any division. If you don't have a full line up.

That's a great turn out for the young ladies. I saw woodford had several. Hopefully, the other schools have several. I like the fact you guys are mixing them in at same meet.
