Just a wrestling parent here, Curious, how does one qualify for regionals with this Covid thing going on? Son has said couple things but just wanted to see what the experts have to say. He said you must weigh in at 5 events or wrestle 5 matches, truth? Reason i ask is today is our first tourney and he had a small spot on his arm (allergic reaction to Tide) and the trainer at the school said he couldn't wrestle before it was ring worm, which we know it's not, he had this reaction before. Our school trainer looked at it and cleared him to wrestle because again wasn't anything. Now we only have 4 events left which might jeopardize him making regionals and he is a senior. any thoughts? help? thanks

Good info, and took him to doctor because they gave him a form he had to fill out in order to wrestle again and doctor said it was not ring worm at all and even laughed because the trainers thought it was. Oh well, we ready for next weekend. Again, thanks for clarification.

Just seeing if anyone post pictures anywhere on here? I'm always near the mat shooting photos for our school and next season will be shooting shots of random wrestlers in action but don't want parents getting upset if i post them. Good idea or bad idea? Just want this forum to grow. I know many might get on looking to see if pictures of their kid was posted. Just a thought!!

Yeah not sure how accurate that site is. Our 113 shows he is 0-3....shows my kid 6-8, that's not correct either.

Region 7 looks like Madison Central did very well along with Lafayette and Boyle County if I'm not mistaken.

Totally agree, we were in line for 30 mins and barely moved. Heard there was only 1 scale which is crazy when you have hundreds of kids and 2hrs. Guess we try again in the morning.

Yeah I’d like to know this....my kid weighed in at 71.4 and they have him in 77. Is that correct?

Anyone have small mat they would sell? 10x10 or similar?? My youngster wants something to work on while at home. He got 2nd in Regionals this past weekend and i told him if he got on podium I’d find one.
