No most MS tournaments are not on track. District, Regions, State is, and a handful of others, but of the tournaments that happen, less than 50% are on track.
-
Question back to you. Who tracks that?
-
High School doesn't have a residency requirement. No sports do at the KHSAA level. For what its worth.
-
Morning of weigh in just like the rest of the postseason.
-
Yes MS weight in counts as youth weigh in.
-
You would seed at least the top 4, then draw in teams from there. Have no idea what they will actually do, probably decided the morning of when everyone is there.
-
I would think you would skip pools with less than 8 and just do a fallout bracket format.
-
That's been discussed with the coaches association multiple times. Unfortunately for MS, the deal the HS has now is to sweet to modify their format to add the MS into it, or to move to a venue where HS and MS can wrestle in the same place. Cant blame the HS, and I am not. Its a good deal for them.

Cost is too high for that to rent a facility to do it. If you get a host school then maybe. State duals doesnt make enough money for that.

Exception, due to the 240 bracket being 3 wrestlers shorts, the rollup plan is already been used to fill those spots. In other words, rollup plan will be at Region 4 once the 240 bracket is filled with alternates. Region 4, Region 2, Region 1, Region 3. (Circle back around)
-
Region 3 at large is no one.
-
Mid week, have to complete the seeding call first before they can be put together.
-
Been that way for about 16 years.
