You should look hard at Oldham county (North, South, East, or Oldham)....arguably the best public school system in the state & nice programs for both wrestling and baseball. One thing to keep in mind is that middle school wrestling in KY is a hybrid school & club association. So club teams (river city & shamrock) don't have a destination school requirement.....e.g. kids can be destined for any high school. The school teams have more restrictions & kids must attend that school or a feeder elementry school.

More complicated than that because Lenhart trumps Cowan on 2nd & 3rd criteria mentioned on call ( state placing and common opponent performance)

A couple results from Anderson county duals. Perhaps some of the other coaches can add some of their results here. North Oldham 1st place... wins over Woodland, Central Hardin , Larue, Boyle, Shamrock, and Oldham cty. Key matches 1. Bryce Moberly (North 105) defeated Phan (Shamrock). For ranking consideration...Bryce also had win over Belk earlier in season 2. Anthony Coffey pinned Jacobi Hayden 3. Landon Lenhart pinned Jack Cummings and Caden Snell 4. Aiden Sarno was 5 & 0 with 5 pins

Good point...usually not a bunch of superstars....but good kids who improve over the season. This season is similar in many ways to the last couple years....we have some 8th graders who have made big improvements over 7th grade.

In my opinion the seeding issue is really only a big factor for determining who is the true 2nd vs. 3rd. Could easily be solved by having 2nd & 3rd placers wrestle to true double elimination. I have never quite understood why this isn't done in wrestling.

I think you guys put on a nice event. I agree with Chris, the medals were awesome & the singlets were really cool.
