  7. Madison Central High School has an opening for a Varsity Assistant Coach. This is a paid position. There will be many teaching job opportunities within the county.     We had a Great Workout and showing @ team KY practice last night at Madison Central. Thanks to all the coaches and parents for showing up and helping out . We were happy to host!

    Madison Central will host Team Kentucky practice on Thursday 03/21 from 6:00-7:30 @ Madison Central high school, our room is in the wrestling gym right at the front of the school. We have plenty of space to work out so I’m sending an invite to any advanced high school kid who wants a great workout and has a USA wrestling card come get a great workout in a tough room!   17. Madison County wrestling club had our first open mat practice tonight. We offer a highly structured and intenseive open mat practice which is available to any middle school and high school wrestler who has a USA wrestling card. Our practice schedule is Tuesday/ Thursday 4:30-6:00 pm. We have a great wrestling facility and dedicated athletes we are looking to invite more wrestlers to join us in our Off season training.     Off

    1st was a takedown, the second two were crotch lifts which are perfactly legal. The kid just didn't know how to properly react to being lifted. The top wrestler did what he needed to do to safely return his opponent to the mat by the definitions of the rules. Because the defensive opponent did not know how to react properly he landed on his head. He should have put his hands down to support the lift. I believe it was a good no call after watching the video.

We are starting a first year wrestling program from the ground up. We are looking to purchase a used wrestling mat, I would prefer the lighter flex roll Mats if possible.
