What happened to Larue? They fell on yard times I see they are young. Any chance they rise again? Hate seeing Larue not in the top 7-8.

Who has lost the most (to graduation) and who looks primed to make a run (underclass men) next year? Off the top of my head, I'd think Johnson Central, Male and WV will be knocking on the door next year. Who am I forgetting? Campbell, Fern Creek and X probably need to reload, right? Who else could face some challenges next year?

Did ATM wrestle patiently with Reed, or is it just that hard to do something in a match when the opponent is that conservative? Reed seemed to hold his own with his game plan by not getting rolled. Did ATM take what was given and tried to savor his last match or is it that hard to wrestle an opponent when a match goes that way?

You're serious, right Shuffle? The overall commentary was decent. No issues there. They had no clue how to say anyone's name. Hell, he even mispronounced Frankrone's name 3 different ways 3 different times during his match. He couldn't even be consistent doing that. I agree, rjs, it isn't KHSAA's fault but it certainly is someone's fault.

I don't know who these Internet TV announcers are but it is a shame that they cannot even pronounce many of the wrestlers' names right. They continued to butcher many names including Sheffer, Meiman, Frankrone and a couple others I'm forgetting. These kids earned their way here and KHSAA can't even give them the respect of something as simple as getting their names right. Even worse, the announcers continued to endlessly babble during the face offs. Great job, KHSAA. Way to cheapen the whole experience for those who deserve their moment.

Who is not making it on the bracket on Tuesday that would have on 2/20? There has to be a few. If there are any, what happened?

I remember watching Mark Hall in the finals that year. Where is he going to wrestle in college? Anyone know?

Was there ANY solution that would have made all parties happy? No. I'm sure the kids from the eastern half of the state are thankful of this decision because of the amount of snow received, coupled by the limited resources available to clear the roads would've spelled doom for them if they continued with the tournament this weekend. Good for them. So Johnny has to maintain his weight for a little while longer. Big deal. These kids that earned their way to the big show deserve just as much of the opportunity to participate as the others who live in more urban areas. 3 weeks is a lot of time, I'll grant that. Having it during the week does suck. But when you give everyone the same chance, we all need to pull together and make it work. Everyone is in the same boat with no scheduled competitions, limited practicing and maintaining weight. At least everyone now has a chance to compete. Isn't that what really matters? Just pray we don't have another similar weather situation on our hands then. If so, all hell is gonna break loose.

Is it considered an upset if ATM didn't pin his opponent in the finals? Lol

That's terrible. There must be some other type of punishment that fits the "crime".

How many alternates had the privilege to get in? That's always cool to see a nice surprise like that.
