    2015 State Duals Info

Hell yeah we recruit. We got skanky cheerleaders and blood doping experts on staff! All our kids are holdbacks, and we spike other teams food with Valium at duals. So what? I don't think any of are competing for a pin from the Pope or Sainthood. I've never heard a college coach ask if a team or school cheated. They just want to know your accomplishments and grades. End of story. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to head to my PO box to pick up our latest shipment of steroi.... errr.. I mean suplements.

Gymnast126... I was sitting with Crazyhorse and I SWEAR I said "I think he dislocated it". It just looked like that. Kudos to him because I snow it stopped once, and he went back at it until it was stopped again. Here's praying he'll make it back for regionals. My own son had a serious back injury once when wrestling. Hard to see injuries happen to ANY wrestler. Godspeed to any of these young men.

True. I'm pretty sure ai saw the trainer telling him he was done. They did in fact promptly leave the tournament and go to the hospital to get checked. 502, shame on you for attacking that kid like that. Your insults being vaguely aimed at a school strongly indicate you think the wrestler quit because he was losing. That's a pretty big person to attack a kids ethics like that. You want to talk TEAM? Without that injury default there's a good chance X loses that dual. You only won by 3. And in fact, the CC wrestler was winning handily until he hurt his shoulder, then tried to fight through it and hurt it again. Come on man. Coming from a Catholic school myself, your post attacking that wrestler isn't helping the bad taste many have for Catholics or private schools.

    Region 6 Predictions

Navywrestler... you're out of your mind. It's obvious you're just trolling. First, who's this 220 you pretend has a chance against Myers? What's his name? Team? Second, Myers is crazy strong. Stronger than most men that are walking around THINKING they're strong. Third, Myers isn't ranked in the top 10 in the Nation for nothing. The kid can wrestle. Myers will walk through State this year, and I would hope Bandkamper has the nut to sign him up for Ironman. You don't have to take the entire team, most of them would get handled anyway, and Myers would be welcomed there. Myers beat the number two from Ohio easily, the number one from Indiana... unless you plan on assembling a wrestler out of hydraulic parts and magic dust... no 220 in Kentucky will handle him.

I'll say it again.... RELEVENT. Not of years gone by. For those of you making a weak attempt at insulting me... keep in mind I'm calling out the clowns making lame comments about a kid like Myers... or any other kid. I could give a squirt about what tourney any fool thinks a kid has to win to be 'one of the greats' in their eyes. A little full of yourselves, aren't you? There is no set formula for a combination of tourneys a kid 'must' win to be a great. Got a problem with Myers not going to Ironman? Take it up with his Coach fellahs. He has to get Myers in Ironman. I can PROMISE you Myers isn't afraid to lace 'em up with anybody. But you clowns that try to downplay him just keep doing what you're doing. I don't care who you are, what you think you know, or how you feel about his dad (who is actually a very good guy that doesn't happen to fit your idea)... Myers will come out on top in spite of your badmouthing efforts. I'm done. Carry on with your badmouthing a kid while everybody forfiets to him out of fear. How many forfiets has he had lately, anyhow?

You guys are clowns. By downplaying Austin Meyers, you are in fact saying Kentucky wrestling is a small pond. Meyers has beat the best Ohio has thrown at him, and if you goofballs think for one second Kentucky is even close to Ohio you're stoned. The mere fact that you have to dig into National ranked big names and guys like Bo Jordan to compare Meyers to speaks volumes about Meyers. State for State, Kentucky would get STOMPED at the Ohio State tourney. Kentucky at present has at the most 3 kids that could compete at State level in Ohio, and two of them wrestle for Campbell County. In fact, Fauz just got his rear end handed to him by two freshman... who aren't even ranked that high in Ohio. Bottom line, all your crap talking only shows that you have NOBODY even close to Meyers, as evidenced by all the cowards that have been giving him forfiets as of late. Get over yourselves. You're of no consequence on the big stage... unlike Meyers. Until you put somebody up there to even compete with him, just nod and accept the fact that he's a level above you or anybody you have. It's a shame anyone would have to defend a wrestler wiyh a perfect record and ranked higher than ANY Kentucky wrestler. And if you try to say Mark Hall, you're grasping for straws and you're an idiot. Be proud of the kid. He's the only thing keeping Kentucky wrestling relevant.

Covington Catholic to start Wrestling in 2013

Goo, Moeller High school has a youth and middle school program that wrestles in the high school room. They're called ECCW (Eastern Cincinnati Catholic Wrestling). Just like any other club, you pay your fee, you join the team.
  10. Im not sure of exact updates, but Ill do my best. Please correct me if Im wrong. Paul Hamilton lost by pin early. Came back and won another I heard, but cant swear to it. I think Trevor Thompson won 1 lost 2? I know he hurt his elbow, wrapped and swollen. Steffan Myers tech falled Oregon State Champ. Then won another tough one to Colorado wrestler, not sure of his ranking. Austin Myer wrestled twice, both pins, has wrestled less than 1:20 total. Im sorry I don't have more updates, as I am following 4 other Ohio wrestlers as well. More wrastlin tomorrow. I would advise anybody that can make this tourney next year, do it. Two college fairs, one Sat for underclassman, one Sunday for seniors. I personally bumped into 4 different college coaches at four different times. And saw several more. Good wrestling, good opportunities, good location.
  11. If you haven't been to one of these, you're missing out. Really good technique from IMO the best. But the best of this, is the personal leadership he gives. We all hear about coaching being more than showing moves. Here's your chance to see EXACTLY what that means.

WV OPEN MATS MOVED TO SUNDAYS AT Complex in VERONA

  13. OMG this stuff is F-U-N-N-Y funny. Little dogs, big dogs, visiting hydrants lol classic!
  14. As I read all this bull from WHS98, it really brings up alot of things. First off, I've known Mpire for a few years. For all his faults (we all have em), deep down he's a good guy. Sometimes misguided, a little crazy, and outspoken. But those are the things I love about him lol. We met when my son wrestled Austin way back in maybe 5th grade? Austin pinned my boy in the 2nd, and even though it was my boys first yr Mpire was nothing but nice and complimentery to him. There's just no filter there, good or bad. And for me, that's ok. You always know where you stand with him. I completely understand why he's a little touchy about people saying things about him. And I think he knows I know too. I catch flack from time to time for being freinds with him, but I don't care. And he doesn't either, which is why we get along I think lol. Bottom line, Mpires alright, and Im glad alot of people in Ky realize that now. While we don't always agree, he is a good motivator and trainer. One only has to look at his sons abilitys. In closing, I think a character such as Mpire is good for wrestling, and nobody needs some yah-hoo trying to stir up sh** from long ago. Goo was absolutely right... we can dissagree, argue, type in all capitols to show we really really mean it... but in the end, we're all here for the growth and betterment of wrestling. To enjoy a spirited discussion now and again. And to gather together from time to time and stand with our chests out watching our kids give their all.
