I have always had the firm belief that sport teaches life lessons, and these lessons take precedent over any win, award, etc. This is a tough lesson for this young man. One he can learn from. I do not know the nature of the behavior, just hoping this young man rights the ship.

Hope it gets turned around. They do have an absolute animal coming in next year, Zach Elam. Two Time state Champ, Fargo Champ, and he starts both ways (TE, DE) on the football team with multiple D1 offers.

NaTo gets Lee next time around. NaTo was the aggressor the entire match, but props to Lee for riding like his life depended on it. Pletcher just keeps on winning. Monster hips on that dude. McKenna looked good, he needs to get on a roll now. Micah - Kemmerer was almost as expected. Kemmerer usually comes hard right out of the gate and Micah seemed not ready for it. He closed out strong against Kemmerer, so has something to build off of. Hayes is a year away from being really good. Campbell, while tough on top needs to work on the rest of his game if he wants to AA. Great to see Bo open up in his final home match. Myles and Moore were fantastic. Crowd was very bummed that Snyder didn't get Stoll. Bucks held a 17-12 lead at that point. Not that anyone expected Stoll to stick Snyder, but the crowd didn't appreciate Brands' choice. Protecting Stoll's seed perhaps? Snyder completely dominated Holloway. He looked for the pin once and Holloway did a nice job of fighting it off. Great atmosphere. 15,000 on hand for the white out. Fun to watch the back and forth between Brands and the OSU faithful. Brands and Ryan exchanged a couple heated words during Micah's match. Somebody (a group/biz?) bought up 500 gen admin tickets and gave them out on a first come-first served basis. Nice gesture. Bring on Penn State!

Looking forward to today’s dual. Final home match for a few outstanding Buckeyes: NaTo, BoJo, and Snyderman. Seems like these guys have been around Columbus forever. Big shoes to fill next year for sure. Iowa is coming in hot. Get the popcorn ready!

Just looked at SoCon rankings. He is at the top in his weight class, and a good showing in conference tourney should have him in the big dance.

Fausz remains #4 this week

Earlier in the season this looked like a blowout in favor of tOSU. Iowa has really come on (Lee, Marinelli) and this looks to be a great dual. Not sure if Downey wrestles yet. He did not compete vs Ok St. To have him debut at tOSU vs Myles would be a questionable decision. My guess is if he goes this year, his first appearance will be at Carver.

1-1 in tri meet, losing to #13 Gustafson (Va Tech) and winning 6-0 vs Richardson.

Hard to disagree with your comment on HWT. That weight might go 12 deep. Watched Stencel v Parker in the Cent Mich - Oh U dual. Not too impressed with either. Stencel "looked" better but made a mistake that Parker capitalized on for back points.

Moved up to #4 in latest Flo rankings. One of my high school faves is having a quietly successful year, Dominic Abounader. Also great to see Marinelli unleashed. I like Stencel, but think he may be overrated at this point.

The remaining MAC portion of the schedule is very doable. I believe Myers has wins over almost all remaining opponents. 6-1 at least in next 7 matches would be my guess. That should have him in good position heading into MAC tourney and NCAAs.

Who knows why he didn’t go? No need to speculate. Hoping this event grows some legs. Would like to see it become a duals tournament.

Latest IM rank has him at #8. Was hoping he might move up a notch after Reno. I know, I know. Reno isn’t considered a upper tier event. His match w/ Fix was a great indicator of his mental and physical ability though.

Saul lost a tough qtr bout to the #14 seed Heard from Cincinnati LaSalle. Drew the #4 seed Davis from Wyoming Sem in the consis and lost 7-3, just missing placement. Tough way to go out but an impressive showing nonetheless. Micah took a bye in 1st rd before losing in rd 2 to Evans from Cincinnati Elder. Won a match in consis before med ff. Hope he is okay.

with the 11 seed at Ironman. I will be sure to check him out!
