Couple of matches that must not have been reported on Track yet from last weeks Caldwell vs Union dual. 138: Abe Fletcher (8th grade - Union) dec over Timothy Nichols (Caldwell). 165: Gavin Ricketts (Union) dec over Dylan Walls (Caldwell). Ricketts 2-0 against Walls on the season 175: Paxton Ervin (Union) dec over Colin Walls (Caldwell). 1-1 against each other on the season I believe Cole Sherrill (Caldwell) is 2-0 against Luke Hill (Woodford) this year. Always liked when the big and small school events were combined and the winners from each wrestled. See if the small school team has a chance against those big schools with higher enrollment.

I couldn't find any common opponent or head to head between McCreary or Martin. I guess Martin County's overall dual win percentage is higher than McCreary's. I know McCreary has a win over Boyle, while Boyle has a win over Larue.

Holmes find a spot for this weekend yet?

My guess for seeds and pools for small school state duals. Seeds: 1. Union Co 2. Harrison Co 3. Martin Co 4. McCreary Central 5. Larue Co 6. Spencer Co Pools: Pool A: (1) Union, Boyd Co, Wayne Co Pool B: (2) Harrison, Paducah Tilghman, Taylor Co Pool C: (3) Martin, (6) Spencer, Boyle Co Pool D: (4) McCreary, (5) Larue, Walton Verona Just a complete guess, with the section runner ups thrown in at random opposite their sectional winners.

Holmes was looking for a tournament. As of now they are the first alternate for small school state duals if it comes to that.

Paducah Tilghman did not show up. Union beat Caldwell 66-5. Caldwell is not going to the state duals. Interesting to see how this situation works. Can never trust Paducah to show up, and if they do, will they even bring their full team?

That is awesome. My nephews are wrestling tonight against Union for their senior night and it will most likely be in the tiny middle school gymnasium where wrestling gets allocated to. Wrestling plays third fiddle to the big money makers, from the KHSAA all the way down to most (not all) district athletic departments.

Union is hosting the western Semi-State. Just saw it posted. Great Crossing is hosting the other semi state. Next years hosts are Louisville Central and Ryle.

Duke lost to Kiser in SV 6-4 today.
