    Refs, Formats, and misc. Concerns

I agree with that, dagger. Just getting to state ought to mean more than it currently does. Split the regions into 2 districts again or make the current regions the districts and go back to 4 regions.

    Refs, Formats, and misc. Concerns

I'm not going to complain about one particular ref, or one particular call, but my complaint with referees this season has been the lack of consistency from one ref to another, one tournament to another. Out of bounds calls (the line is in bounds but I've seen it called out; I've also seen both wrestlers completely outside the line and still somehow the match is not stopped), top man starting position calls (since when are you allowed to start with a tight waist?), loss of control calls, and pin calls are just some of the situations where it seems like refs are operating under different guidelines. I understand there is a certain degree of discretion with judgment calls. However, there is not as much discretion in the official rulebook as what I have seen on display at tournaments this season. Everyone needs to enforce the same rules and make the same calls in the same situations.

    Interesting concept -State Duals/State Tournament

Top two teams from each regional duals tournament

    Region 2 Duals

Anderson County 195 Travis Kaelin defeated Larue County BJ Carman by a couple of points. 5-3 maybe? I know it was 2 points

    WCI

I contacted Coach Graves at Woodford County. Sure enough, it was in the system wrong. Kaelin won his finals match, bumping Anderson up to 2nd place, ahead of Southern

    WCI

195 was the other way around. Kaelin from Anderson Co. pinned the North Oldham kid in the finals. Kaelin also won MOW for the upper weights. Clay Brown won MOW for the lower weights

    Middle State Surpises or Shockers

I think the woman and the skinny ref who wears glasses were the best two that were there. I didn't like the one ref who left his shirt untucked the whole time. Does that affect his calls? No, but it looks terribly unprofessional.
