I'm pretty sure that if the wrestler is on his back, and his back is out of bounds, near-fall is not awarded, but the ref does look for the pin. I've almost been awarded a pin on a kid who's back was out of bounds recently (The ref was looking for it but we ended up going out completely).

I think he means 3 overtimes, but is putting the two 30 second periods of the 2nd overtime into two different ones.

I wouldn't say that he's that jacked for a 103. He's definitely tall for a 103, and is stronger than just about everyone, but not huge.

What do you all think will actually happen at state for 103? (1-8)

I'd say 103's is probably Goff from Seneca. He seems like the athletic and explosive type.

Maybe so, but it's not worth cutting as much weight as he is to wrestle 103.

He means that just because they're not at the top, people like to say that they're "down", even though they're still much better than some teams will ever be.

I agree Tates Creek is improving a lot and improving fast. But it will still take a lot before they become a state-dominant wrestling team.

I know quite a few of the Woodford wrestlers and I have never had a problem with any them. I won't say that they don't have a wrestler or two that is arrogant and cocky and obnoxious, but most every team does have a kid like that. As a team, they have no reason to be hated.

I'll give it to him that he's athletic but i dont think he has state-finalist technique.
