Evansville Reitz should be ranked! They beat the 18th ranked team in the state by 20 points. They only have two seniors on the team and are still missing 1 or two varsity wrestlers. However, I feel if Woodford had their studs in the line-up it would of made a big difference.

Why did Caleb quit?

Making weight is part of the sport. At the state tournament (even if they are defending state champ) and do not make weight they are done. Seeding of kids- If for example the number one seed does not make weight he is disqualified. 2 goes to one/3goes to 2/ 4goes to 3 and during the seeding meeting that takes place the days prior, you go ahead a seed a five just is case. The new wrestler that takes the place of the kid who did not make weight is now seeded five. By doing this the seeding is cut and dry and you will save time on the day of wreslting where the fans don't have to sit there.

Tournaments directors-Run your tournaments straight thru. Maybe one 15min break one. Coaches- email or fax your records. IF they don't. DO not invite them back. If you seed a kid and he does not wrestle (injury)you can sub him with a non seeded wrestler. And every wrestler under the seeded kid bumps up one. No body wants to sit there any longer than they have to.

What is the toughest Middle School tournament? Other than state.

Yes King of the Bluegrass is a tough tournament. Evansville Reitz went down there last two years. What teams are going to be there this year and how many?

Evansville Reitz is having a Middle School Folkstyle Tournament on March 10. I am aware this is after your state tournament. I have spoke with Brad Hagedorn (Union County Coach) about assembling one or two all star teams together from Kentucky. You can use any Middle School wrestlers you want to put a team together. I just want tough competition. Attending so far are Reitz, Memorial, New Albany, Central. Waiting for a reply from Floyd Central, Sullivan, Mater Dei. I am trying to bring in top quality programs. Your team will receive 5 matches with no bye rounds. We already have 5 very competitive teams interested and are looking for 5 more.
