2010 Trinity was pretty good. 6 finalists,10 placers, top 4 most team points.

I think Shawn is a tough kid who will only get better. And you are correct if Elliot didn't beat him he would've been in the finals and if Tommy Warren hadn't beaten him he would've gone for 3rd. And if and only if my aunt had b*lls she'd be my uncle. It's really hard to use this logic in wrestling.

In the past there was little way of knowing what Freshmen would do well. Now that the middle school programs are growing as well as the m.s. state. The powers that be are able to see who is coming up and can rank accordingly.Although some schools have had a middle school program for years, many have not.

Ryan's older brother, Spenser, is a Greco World University gold medalist. Some of his throws look like pro wrestling moves. RtTMpiuSaeI

I haven't heard it, but I just read a wrestler from U of Penn has done a hip hop song called "I'm a wrestler". look at www.imawrestler.com

Kyle's tourney matches looked like this: Loss Keefe (UTC) 12-10 OT Win Borshoff (American) 8-7 TB1 Win A.Simmons (MSU) F M FOR Win Ettelson (N.Iowa) 5-4 Loss Griffin (Hofstra) 2-1 One match from placing. Keefe was one match from placing. Griffin went on to place 3rd. Congrats on a great freshmen season,Kyle. You've got a great foundation to build on for the future

Ruschell loses 1st round to Keefe from UTC 12-10. Keefe is a tough kid,AA 2yrs ago. I believe Kyle needs to win at least 4 in a row to AA.

The rule says a wrestler cannot go down below a weight class he competed at during the season. So if John ever weighed in this season at 152 lbs. he could go. I remember Ruschell doing it 2 years ago. He wrestled 112 at Beast of the East and weighed in a few times during the year at 112 lbs. This made him able to wrestle and place 3rd at Senior Nationals at 112 lbs.

Congratulations to all of Kentucky's collegiate wrestlers. UotCumberlands: Choates(125) and Flinchum(Hwt) went out as champions. Brad Cooper 141 placed Dustin Center 6th at 149 Matt Reis 5th at 174 Campbellsville: Jacob Murton placed 3rd Zach Flake 141, beat Cooper 7-6 in the national finals.1st national title in any sport for Campbellsville. Chris Seta 4th at 149 David Clemens 2nd at 157 Glen Jackson 5th at 197 Cumberlands was 5th--- quite a few seniors on this team, may be rebuilding next year. Campbellsville 7th-- I believe Seta(4th) was the only senior for Campbellsville, should be really tough next year. P.S. I'd love to see Murton and Flake work out together. No question as to why these guys did so well.

Awesome Job, Kyle!! I'm assuming he beat Rivera from Minny, who he lost to by 2 not long ago. What's the story with Mena, and his "theatrics"?

The Big Ten had 72 qualifiers last year. Top 7 and 2 wild cards go.

Ruschell loses to Cassio Pero 12-2. Started a little rough with Kyle going to his back early.

Ed's is first in the country right now . They've beaten Blair recently in a dual.
