I’m not sure I understand the reluctance (or refusal) to post that information here. There are likely more than a few coaches who have no idea about the coaches group, how to join, etc. as a former coach looking in from the outside, it feels like everything is now less transparent and secretive. Even the new site doesn’t directly state where the State Tourney is...you have to click on a link to find out the location. Why not just post it? Again, it feels secretive, and almost like this whole process wants to be kept quiet. Like it or not, this is still the place where most come to get their information. Not using this site as a communication vehicle is wasting a resource to communicate and release information and is driving a wedge between the Board and the general wrestling community.

If you are a MS or Youth coach who is not getting pertinent information about the season or need the ability to comunicate with the rest of the coaches and the board please IM me so we can get you on the coaches Google Page,.

It's not really "bumping up". These kids are growing. Russellburg, Little, and Pogue are noticeably bigger and will have to do big cuts to get to last years weight classes.

I am a current assistant coach and this is where I get my info or ask Jon Carr. I have never heard of the google coaches group. I am not bitching, I just want to help the sport grow. This seems like a good outlet to share info.

I think the most logical lineup would to keep Gabe at 132, insert Insko at 138, and the rest all bump up a weight class. No one loses a spot at all.

Those weights are from preseason rankings based on a weight class they made in February. I have no doubt he will fit in seamlessly and Union will have the best team we’ve seen in a VERY long time.
