As we start to shift our focus from the international styles back to folkstyle the preseason tournaments are on the radar. In the past we have had a lot of great Kentucky guys head up north and perform extremely well. We are looking forward to many other great wrestlers to come this year. Coaches, I’m excited for this year’s BGSG! I just registered 12 kids between the age of 5-10 years old for this event. I believe last year, WC only had 3 or 4 total kids registered for BGSG. I’m hoping with all of these remote weigh ins across the Commonwealth, our youth numbers will be higher than normal. I’m excited to see everyone there. This is the type of offseason event that allows us to stay true to the Kentucky State Motto: United we stand, Divided we fall. #KYgrowsWEgrow

Wrestling in NKY and the state is going to look a little different next year with the class of 2018 moving on to the next level. Thanks for opening up "The Barn" all these years! We will be there on the 30th to say goodbye!

Thank you for all the kind words. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone on the 30th. The responses have been great and we are expecting a 100 plus people. We are trying to figure out food. Please send me a message to let me know if you are attending and how many guest. We want to make sure you bring a chair and also a towel if you plan to swim. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

You’ve been my friend 25 years and I’ve had the pleasure of coaching with you at Raider Youth when your sissy was happy just getting a medal at the take down tournament. Now look at him! Still winning takedown tournaments!! You have been family to all of my kids, a boyfriend to my wife and the original one to nickname Cole “Gameface” when he was 5. I’ve seen hundreds of kids benefit from your love and Stacy’s hospitality. You guys will sorely be missed and I’m not looking forward to looking for a place to train when everything else is snowed out and the don’t have a sauna!!!! LOL!!! All serious, you have been a brother!!
