Yes he did. Didnt see much cause I was running it, but perry meridian was loaded, and it was their b team.

I took agree with McManus as a mow. The voting was within a couple pts for all three. Some outstanding wrestling in many classes today

Very well ran tournament, I have to agree with you hotlava. I think Ryan McManus (145) had an awesome tournament. Knocked off the 1st and 2nd Seed to win his weight class...MOW performance for sure in my opinion. No disrespect intended for the selection of Michael Mattox he too had a great tournament.

I'm not really getting it is a team that has 2 forfeits in their lineup really that good .and with the dual well in hand what strategy is there in running from a good match ,If someone is hurt why wrestle them at all if you are blowing out a team ?

When will new rankings be out?

It has come to my attention that some kids may not be able wrestle at state due to coaches/schools not getting things turned in. If your team is not on the registered team list you might want to get in contact with your coach.

Can young Belk make the lineup at Ryle he did well at NKAC it is good seeing young kids making it to state if he can get out of regions it gives hope for the future and following his brothers footsteps he will most likely end up being even better and a possible state champ or future multiple state champ for Ryle and NKy taking second to Wells is pretty good as Wells is a multiple state champ level guy.

Going to be a shootout .Campbell county is the defending champs and they always seem to get their team together at the end of the year as Coach Bankamper focuses on the end game.Simon Kenton seems to be on the money with some of the toughest upper classmen in the state and some good supporting guys as well might be their year .Walton Verona has some stud Jrs some stud underclassmen and a sr at heavy who I wish had one or two years left because he could be national level and may take it all if hes on the money big athletic and in decent shape just saying if he had been as focused or into the sport as some of the other top guys he would be on everyones list to watch .Ryle I believe is in a rebuilding stage with a couple good kids and a nice history and legacy to help rebuild on.Not sure what Cooper or Scott has in the works or if Scott is even in the region with all the remixing the last couple years .Cov Cath has a stud or two and Newport has steadily risen Im thinking the upper level kids in the schools that do not have a shot at winning may be the spoilers to some that do and Walton the underdog s.mall school that could may be down to many horses . Wells and Yenter ,Vs Cornett Castellano vs Smith and Moore with a heavy in Ruber who could pin through and crush some dreams some good kids and good teams but everyone seems to have a couple pieces of the puzzle missing and not a lot of top guys in the same classes except 126 where the finals will be the match of the reg.Not sure what Boone or Conner has they always have a few studs with all the new schools I guess its hard for them to be the top dogs as they were long ago .I have no idea about Holmes either but I remember yrs ago they had a huge youth team that doesn't seem to be bearing fruit to me and its my own opinion a big basically inner city school should be able to get some kids wanting to scrap I think I could go jogging around town and pick up 20 or 30 kids who want to beat up someone and create a team of monsters ,isn't it like one of the biggest citys in the state ? not going to look good on all these big schools if a school of barely 500 total kids takes it to everyone or it may be a good thing and send a message to the smaller schools or small schools that do not have teams that they can get it done with a bunch of work .
