Haven't seen any action this year..

They don't have a continued youth program anymore. They'll never catch up with other teams that have a good youth program. It all starts with the young wrestlers. Teams that are winning the elementary/Middle school tournament will be the teams that go on to win high school championships. Look at Trinity and Ryle now. They were the old Fern Creek and Gray teams. Woodford hasnt had a good youth program for years now. And you're right, when Coach Parks retired, it all started to go downhill.

Until Trinity gets 3 pins in a row in the semis. That's big points! Good night, lights out, shows over.

Great point by BigCoach. It does matter to teams going for the team title. And it does make a difference to a wrestler if the #2 wrestles the #1 in quarters or the finals. Big difference. I could live with a 32 man bracket but would rather go back to 16. But its not fair to not seed. And don't give me the life isn't fair line.

For me to complain about the 32 man bracket! It was made to promote wrestling in the state? Well, in my opinion, it is horrible... Just look at 145 this year. Wow. 125 is similar. There is no was #1 and #2 should ever meet in quarters. Or 1,2 and 3 be on the same side. It's not fair to the wrestlers. I wish 119 would of been messed up too just to complain. This is my new BCS... Not to mention the state tournament itself is too long with a 32 man bracket. Go back to 16.

This again is odd to me. I understand safety comes first, but really? I wrestled in this state back in the 90's and can't remember one tournament cancelled. Ever. This sport is played in nothern states and they seem to be doing ok? Very odd.

Who's out there in the college world from KY and how are they doing? We know about Ruschell, he's easy to follow..

I for one love the fact that ms kids can wrestle varsity. It really helps in their development...our state isnt that good in the lower weights yet and this helps the kids get better. Remember the couple years when they couldnt in the 90's. Much better now.

OK, I'm a little slow..where can I find the scdedules? Is there a place to find all the next weekend touraments for example?
